My boyfriend and I were walking down the beach hand in hand with sand between our toes, it was the best feeling in the world after everything that has happened.

*Flashback*

I looked in his brown eyes and didn't see regret, instead I saw anger. I lifted my hand to touch my check and it was so sore.. He hit me. I couldn't look at him in the eyes but he came down and grab me chin harshly "Don't you ever speak to that male again! Got it?" he let go of my chin and I nod my head slowing watching his every move. He stood up and walk to the room like nothing happened.

*End of flashback*

That day plays in the back of my head all the time and it was because I was hanging out with a friend for a couple weeks because he wasn't a jerk like Thomas.. He was nice, caring and sweet, It was Noah. I never told him about all the things that Thomas did but I started telling him when we got together. I trusted him with all my life.

Anyway, the sun was setting and I was relaxed.. Nothing could ruin this perfect moment, then someone I never wanted to see again did. It was him Thomas. He was walking towards us with a smile on his face and I squeezed Noah's hand more. He knew straight away who it was. He walked up to us and we stopped in our tracks. "hello there (Y/N) fancy meeting you here? Who's this?" Thomas said looking at Noah. "I'm her boyfriend, got a problem with that?" Thomas shook his head slowly keeping eye contact with Noah. "Nope.. Not at all, I mean she was mine.. If I was you I'd be careful" he smiled showing his white teeth and left. I was shocked and didn't know what to say 'If I was you I'd be careful' I looked up and Noah and he was already looking at me, I felt a blush creep into my check and I tried hiding my face but Noah grab my hands on some he could see me and kissed me. "Your so beautiful (Y/N), I won't let anything happen to you" I smile to myself "I know, I know" we kept walking on the beach for a bit but I just couldn't stop thinking about what Thomas said.. I pushed it away and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with Noah.

*Time skip*

Once we step foot into our cute apartment I threw my shoes in the corner and fell onto the lounge looking at The roof while Noah closed the door, he plopped next to me hugging me in the process I look over at him and he smiles making my heart melt. "Are you okay (Y/N)?" I shrugged "not really.. What Thomas said sorta put me off guard.. I mean what if he comes back Noah?" Noah grabs my hands and it feels like he's looking into my soul "I won't let anything happen to you okay?" I nod my head "I think I'm going to have a shower and get all this sand off me" I got up from the couch while Noah turned on the TV. I walked up the stairs to our bathroom connected to our bedroom, I grab some shorts and a tank top considering it wasn't that cold thank god.

While I was in the bathroom drying my body I hear a bang from downstairs, I don't take my note from it because it could be Noah being clumsy as always and fell over something. I slid my tank top over my head while walking down the stairs "Hey Noah are you alright what ha-" I turned the corner and I saw a sight I never wanted to see, Thomas had Noah between his arms with a knife against his neck. I stood there like a statue I couldn't move it talk. "Oh look who finally decided to join us!" Thomas said with a big grin on his face. "Thomas.. Let him go.." I said taking a step closer. He laughs which makes his grip go tighter and I see Noah stiffen up even more. "Why would I want to do that (Y/N)? Beside You Were Mine until Noah had to ruin things!" he pushed Noah towards me and I ran to him grabbing his face making him look at me "it's going to be alright Noah, it's going to be alright" I hug him but I pulled off by Thomas "Oh honey.. Did you not learn not to hang out with other boys? I thought you would've known by now?" he pushes me to the ground and kicks me in the chest Noah goes to get up but Thomas grabs me by the shirt and I'm in the same position that Noah was in seconds ago. I gulp, hard knowing that I could possibly die. Noah gets back because we both know what he could do. "Now.. Noah if you take a foot closer then the love of your life will be gone with a second" He runs the knife down my neck, the cold metal made my hairs stand up.

I didn't like this.. I kept my eyes locked with Noah the whole time hoping that something, someone will rescue me. Thomas positioned the knife at the top of my arms and dug in into my skin down to my elbow make my tense up and scream in pain. "Don't move or yell! This is what you deserve" I close my eyes tight trying not to make a noise but it's hard not to, I hear him laugh to himself. He stops and drops the knife he turns me to face him and I see that smile on his face.

Then out of nowhere police are running through the door grabbing Thomas while I run into Noah's arms, his body warmth made me feel safe once again. They police take Thomas out of my apartment and my neighbor Ruby walls in and spots me, she runs over and hugs me I flinch because of my cut. "oh I'm so sorry (Y/N), I'll get a medic in here" she runs out the door and seconds later run back in with a women and her first aid kit. She cleans up the blood with rubbing alcohol with stung so much!  It made me tear up. Then she wrapped my arm in a bandage and taking Noah and I to the ambulance. Before I go Ruby walks over "It was me that called the police, I heard a bang at your apartment and went to come over to see what was happening and your door was knocked down, I peeked into you apartment and I saw Thomas have Noah when they were waiting for you I was guessing so I ran to my room and called them" I hug Ruby "Thank you so much! Your a life saver! Definitely need to go shopping one day" we both laughed.

Oh the way to the hospital I was laying in Noah's arms thinking of what just happened in the past hour. I nearly lost my life if it weren't for Ruby.. But for now I'll enjoy this moment with Noah in the back of an ambulance.
