二 | TWO

i avoided everyone's pointed stares 

as i slowly made my way out of school. 

this was nothing new

they all talked about me, 

labelling me as a freak, a monster

without even knowing me first.

i was an alien to them.

then they would act oblivious 

when i popped up,

as if i didn't know.

i'd rather them shove it in my face.

but i told myself i didn't care.

i smiled slightly seeing a butterfly 

resting on a flower.

i wish i was a butterfly, 

with a flap of my wings

all my worries would disappear,

i wouldn't be held back by societies expectations, 

i could finally fly. 

stepping closer to the butterfly, 

i suddenly tripped over a rock,

making me fall and scrape my knees.

"shit," i widened my eyes,

seeing the blood come to the surface. 

a figure seeing my state, 

kneeled down to help me.

the figure lifted its face up.

taehyung.

"i told you to be careful," he chuckled,

taking my hand and leading me to a bench.

"um, and i don't have any disinfectant with me right now,

so would you like to come to my apartment so i can clean it?"

i really found it unnecessary,

but still nodded automatically, 

trapped under his spell.

"it's just a round the corner.

will you be able to walk?" 

i nodded, smiling, 

trailing behind him like a lost puppy. 

after a few minutes of walking, 

we finally reached his apartment. 

"welcome to my humble abode,"

he smiled cutely before letting me in.
