"so, we have a new student today.
i'd like you to take care of him."
i raised my head from the desk,
looking around the class to see
everyone was being their normal lazy selves,
not caring the least about the new student.
"hi, everyone, my name is kim taehyung,
hope we'll all get along."
taehyung?
i suddenly had all attention on him now
as he walked up to my desk and sat in the seat next to me.
"hey haru," taehyung smiled.
"taehyung? why are you here?"
"i moved schools after the last one didn't work out
do you not like me being here?"
"no, i just-"
i shook my head and looked around,
everyone was busy in their own conversations.
"i'm glad you're here,
maybe i'll finally have a friend," i muttered quietly.
"what?" taehyung's forehead creased.
"do you not have friends? how? you seem extremely likeable."
i smiled to cover up the fact that i was very flustered.
"no...i guess i'm too different to have any friends."
"well now we can be different together," taehyung smiled.
things are going to get better.
