i stared out of the window of the café, 

watching the leaves spin like ballerinas 

with the wind blowing life into them. 

where is taehyung? 

why did he disappear? 

did i really see him?

maybe seunghee would know. 

"hey," seunghee turned her head at the sound of my voice, 

it was the first time i had spoken since we had arrived at the café. 

"yeah?" seunghee inquired. 

"did you see taehyung back at the school?" 

"taehyung?" seunghee looked puzzled. "who's that?"

"you don't know?" i met her confused look 

with an equally confused look.

"what does he look like?" joshua joined in.

i turned towards him. 

"tall, silver hair, brown eyes..he's a relatively new student." 

"never seen him before..

and i'm sure i would have remembered someone with silver hair.." 

joshua looked puzzled.

"yeah, i would have too. sorry haru," seunghee replied. 

"that's strange. really strange," i buried my head in my hands. 

how had they never even seen him before?

the school isn't even that big. and i'm always around taehyung. 

this isn't normal

"haru, are you okay?" joshua looked concerned, 

glancing at seunghee worriedly. 

"you must have a fever..." 

seunghee put a hand to my forehead, checking my temperature.

"or maybe it was just trauma from that bitch suyeon.." 

"yeah maybe," i simply replied, 

not wanting to bother them further. 

"let's drop you off at home," joshua answered, 

sensing i did not want to carry on the conversation.
