Hey guys. As you could tell I've been writing a lot lately and I feel it is very needed in this sense.
So Covens.. What are they? If you've read my previous entries you should know a Coven is a group of Witches working together, but how, why, and where? In this part I will only cover the basics, and will answer the other questions in a follow up entry. Personally I've never been apart of a Coven, but my teacher let me visit and practice with hers. In a Coven you learn that working in roles is very important. Most Covens I have interviewed or visited consist of at least eight people, but can go as low as three. The maximum I have interviewed was about 18, as it gets harder for people to control their Magick. Every person there has a job. If we go by eight, we have three people working with herbs, which is also our Green Witches, as when you work in the Green Magick field you work with healing and herbs. The rest tend to be White or Black Magick users, but not typically in the same group. Most Covens consist of different subsections of the same field Magick.
If we have a Coven of three, we have one healer, and the others are the ones who focus on subsections. The most I can say a beginning Green Witch can heal is about 3, not including themself. If you have five people in a Coven it is preferred two of them practice Green Magick.
