Hello hello!

Okay! Wands aren't needed, but Wands CAN help with charging your Ritual..! Wands are used for healing as well as spells and magic, it can also be used to charge a plant or herb with special powers of healing..! Wands are used by the witch pointing the wand and directing the energy, often using silent word spells to empower the wand.

                                                                     Making Your Wand

It is always better to make your own wand as when you are touching it during the crafting it is absorbing your energy, the wand is a very personal item. Make sure you use wood that is sturdy so that is doesn't fracture as you are working with it, most wands are approximately twelve to sixteen inches long, you can often find branches already broken off trees and lying on the ground, these are quite suitable to be used for your wand, do not be concerned if the branch is bent or crooked it won't affect the energy in any way. Most Witches do prefer to find a twig on the ground, as ripping one off a tree is harmful to nature. If you do however have to do such as thing, leave a gift, like water or compost. Sandpaper can be used to make your wand smooth. Feel and charge your wand with love and light to help your wand wield its most powerful magic. As you are charging your wand, transmit the energy of love beauty and kindness. People often after smoothing carve into. I understand the need, as it makes it personal. When you carve something into whether it's a drawing, names, or even your name, dont make it as deep as the wand, and it will start to rot. I learned that the hard way. If you don't want to do the work of finding a stick and working on it... Well, You can buy one from a store, (Magick, Occult, Wiccan stores)! Orrr You could buy a stick..! I know buying a stick sounds weird, but some stores (and people) do that! I do have a collection of wands that I might one day show you all.

Thank you for reading my updated entry. I also want to say, when I first started Witchcraft I was told a lot of different views. I noticed after I was taught by my teacher, I seemed to notice I fit in with a lot of beliefs. Like LyraNoir. I dont want to link her as I know she probably doesn't want to read my Grimoire again, but still. Say thank you to her, for trying to help the old me.
