How Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc should have went

The rest of chapter 5

The next day comes and only Makoto, Sayaka, and Hagakure are at the dining hall that day. After a quiet, depressing breakfast is over, everyone all go their separate ways. Freetime events now start up again and everyone is available this time. The next day pops up and the exact same thing happens at the dining hall again that day. Only makoto, Sayaka, and Hagakure were there that day. After breakfest however, Makoto and Sayaka go off to search for Mukuro. They bump into Mukuro who was coming down the stairs from the second floor. Mukuro doesn't even say anything, but issues the two of them to follow her. The two of them do so and when they make it up the stairs, Mukuro turns around and starts talking to them. "Monokuma is alot stronger than you think... The mastermind is a lot stronger than you two think." Mukuro than looks angry and looks up at the camera, and than back to Makoto and Sayaka. "There are hostages in this building somewhere. Monokuma is keeping innocent people; people who have nothing to do with anything surrounding this killing game, kept away somewhere in this building. Those people were people that I knew. The mastermind must have taken precautions in case I were to betray them like I am right now. If I try to harm Monokuma or reveal the masterminds identity than the hostages will die. You two are different though. The three of us have been through a lot together. I care about everyone here, except for maybe Byakuya and Toko. It's best not to share this information with anyone else, even stupid Hagakure." After all three of them continue talking, Mukuro tells them that she's going to do some more investigating and that Makoto and Sayaka should just focus on themselves and not worry about her unless she says otherwise, nervous and hesitant to do so, however, Sayaka and Makoto agree to it and both depart from Mukuro. Sayaka and Makoto both walk back to their dorm rooms, both nervous and frightened by the fact of Monokuma capturing people who were close to Mukuro and that Mukuro could not reveal the masterminds identity. Sayaka was the most concerned about Mukuro, but Makoto did his best to persuade Sayaka that Mukuro wouldn't do anything drastic or stupid and that she was still there friend. 

After the two of them depart, freetime events are starting up again and everyone is available except for Mukuro. The next morning, while Makoto is heading to breakfast, Mukuro comes up to him from the right and asks him if he can help her with something. Makoto than follows Mukuro into the showroom locker room and shows him Alter Ego (Alter Ego didn't do anything in chapter four." Mukuro discusses with Makoto that she's been using Alter Ego to help her find the location of the hostages withing the school. Mukuro than says to Makoto that Alter Ego found them. Mukuro than says that they are held up somewhere underground and that she wants Makoto to go with her to try and save them. Makoto, wanting to back Mukuro up, decides to do so. Mukuro than informs Makoto that they will depart tomorrow morning after breakfast and for him to not tell Sayaka or anyone else about what they're doing. Makoto agrees to it and than leaves Mukuro to head to breakfast. Breakfast is the same as the last two days and than freetime events start up again, everyone is available. Te next day, breakfast goes the exact same way as it has been going and than Makoto meets up with Mukuro in the showroom locker room and Mukuro begins discussing how the two of them will get to the location of the hostages. That way is through the ventilation shaft. Makoto will go to the boys pool locker room on the second floor and than grab workout bands from that room and meet back with Mukuro. Makoto than does that and the two of them than discuss how Makoto will use those to get up into the air vents, like how Celest once did in her murder plan. After Makoto, finally successfully, gets up into the air vents after Mukuro simply jumps up into them, the two of them begin to crawl through the air vents. "Given what Alter Ego had told me about the location of the hostages and my knowledge of Hopes Peak, I think I know where they'd be." The two of them continue talking about what they're going to have to do when they get there. Mukuro warns Makoto that the mastermind will not let them leave and that Monokuma can not be directly harmed, so they must be careful on what they do.
