SHAYNE POV

I was texting Courtney last night because we were talking about the SGA live stream next week.

S: It will be fun to race you in Mario Kart

C: Yep, especially because I'm going to win

S: Yeah yeah, well see about that Miller

C: >:)

S: Anyways, you want to hang out tomorrow?

C: Sorry I can't, I'm going to meet up with my friend his name is Dylan

S: Oh, that's ok have fun with him, and don't do anything dirty

C: Ok mom, I won't

S: Alright see you tomorrow, goodnight

C: Goodnight

Well she is busy tomorrow. Oh well we see each other everyday anyways I'm sure it'll be fine.

The Next Day...

I was walking to Starbucks because that where I go every morning. While I was there I saw a familiar car sitting outside of the building. I walked in and saw Courtney sitting at a booth with another guy who I assumed was Dylan. I went to stand in line and I guess she saw me.

"Hey Shayne"

"Oh, hey Court, didn't see you there." I lied "Wassup" 

"Nothing much Just hanging out with my friend Dylan so told you about, what about you?"

"Just came to get some coffee, it wakes me up in the morning"

"Cool, wanna come sit with us?"

"Sure, I just need to get my coffee first"

"Ok" I got my coffee and sat with Courtney and Dylan 

"So Courtney, who's this?" Dylan said while looking at me with a mean stare. "Oh, this is Shayne he is my Coworker at Smosh, you know the YouTube channel I work for."

"Well, that's cool. It's nice to meet you Shayne"

"Nice to meet you too" I could tell he was trying to win over Courtney and he must've thought I was in the way. great.

We all talked for a little bit until we all had to leave. "Bye Courtney, see you Monday"

"Ok bye" I turned and left. This Dylan guy better not be the type of person that breaks her heart. I hate those guys.

COURTNEY POV

Dylan and I walked out together "So you and Shayne must be really close"

"Yeah, he's my best friend. Well I mean other than Olivia. He is a sweet guy and he is really funny."

"Do you like him?"

I don't know if I want to tell Dylan just yet "No, not that way. I like him as a friend" He seemed to be...relieved?

"Anyway I should head home now, it was nice catching up with you Dylan"

"Yeah it was nice catching up with you too, Oh hey can I have your phone number so we can keep in touch?"

"Sure, why not" we exchanged phone number and we went our separate ways.
