COURTNEY POV

"Olivia!!" I ran to her in tears and hugged her tightly. "Court what happened?"

"I...I..I tried to talk to Shayne but I said some things I shouldn't have and he left crying. I think I just completely ruined our friendship" I was crying so hard right now. Olivia just hugged me tighter.

We stayed like this for an hour until I got a call on my phone.

OLIVIA POV

Courtney's phone rang and she picked it up "Hello?". after talking for a moment she let out a gasp and starting crying. Once she hung up she hugged me once aging but harder.

"What's wrong??"

"Sh..Shayne was in an accident" I was shocked. Oh no.

"Oh no. Court I'm so sorry"

"We have to go seen him, now!" we both got up and ran for my car. The whole drive was silent until it started to rain. "Look Court I'm sure he'll be fine"

"I hope so" she was so upset. I felt so bad.

We arrived and Courtney immediately ran up to the reception desk. "Shayne Topp?". The receptionist checked her computer "Room 24B"

"Thank you so much!" Courtney and I walked quickly to Shanye'sroom. There was a nurse there she said we had to wait in the waiting room for a minute. We sat on the waiting room and Courtney had her head on my shoulder sobbing silently.

We waited for another hour before a nurse cameima. "Is there a Courtney Miller in here?"

She immediately sat up "That's me"

"Alright, you may come in Mr. Topp's room now" She sat up and followed the nurse.

COURTNEY POV

"What relationship do you have with Mr. Topp?" the nurse asked on our way there. "I..I'm his best friend"

Once we got there I went in and held his hand. "Shayne, I'm so sorry. If I hadn't yelled those things at you you wouldn't be here. This is all my fault" I started crying on his hands "Oh, sorry I didn't mean to cry on you"

"Shayne I just wanted to say I love you" no response "I've wanted to tell you thIs for a while, but I never got the courage" I had been sitting there for maybe hours when a nurse comes in. 

"Ok, ma'am your Courtney Miller, Mr. Topp's best friend?"

"Y..yes"

"Ok, well I have some good news and some bad news. Which would you like to hear first?"

"The good news please"

"Ok, Mr. Topp will live" Thank God.

"Unfortunately, he is in a coma and we still don't know when he will wake up"

"Oh ok. I'm just happy he will still be alive" I was happy he would still be alive unfortunately I won't be able to talk to him for a little bit. That's alright as long as he will live.
