STILL COURTNEY POV
3 months later...
Shayne has been in a coma for 3 months. I've missed him so much, I've been there to visit him every day. Dylan and I ended up breaking up because I had feeling for Shayne and not him, he was surprisingly understanding and we are still friends. I also haven't been myself lately, the only way I would act happy was if I was in front of a camera other than that I wasn't the happiest. My birthday is in 2 days which I would usually be happy for but since I know Shayne don't be there I can't be happy.
2 days later...
I hadn't had time to do visit Shayne the last 2 days because I've been busy and I can't stop thinking about him. Today's my birthday so I'm expecting a lot of hugs and happy birthdays from everyone at work. Once I got there I noticed that the lights were off and no one was there. "Huh, that's weird. I know we have work today" I walked into the squad room and turned on the lights and that's when everyone came out yelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" I was shocked "Wow guys thank you so much! This really means a lot"
I hugged everyone and thanked them all for what they did. "Hey Courtney!"
Ian was calling me over to everyone else "What's up?"
"Well, we all got you a very special present"
"You did?" I was confused "Yep, turn around"
"Um..ok?" I turned around and I couldn't believe my eyes.
What I saw was the greatest thing I could have ever gotten for my birthday.
"SHAYNE!!!" I ran up to him and hugged him tightly crying.
"Hey Court, happy birthday" I couldn't believe he was actually here. I was happy again.
"I'm so happy your ok!" I finally let go of him. "Listen Court, I've wanted to say thus for a while but I was nervous and never got the guts to say it. I like you."
I was so surprised and happy that I hugged him. We were face to face right now, I just wanted to kiss him. And that is exactly what I did.
"Awwwwww..." everyone swooned. Shayne and I were blushing so much. "I love you Courtney."
"I love you too Shayne"
Best. Birthday. Ever.
