"Are you sure about this?" I asked Damien.

"Yes, I'm sure" he said "I bet Courtney wants something like this. Now send the damn message"

Damien wants me to propose to Courtney tonight so he made me text Courtney to come over. The message says "Hey Court, I have something important I need to talk to you about. I'm at Damien's so you can come over here" this might work. "Alright Alright" I hit send and we waited for her response.

A half hour later, Damien's doorbell rang. He opened it and Courtney was there with Ethan, holding his hand. "Hey Damien" she said and looked at me "Hey Shayne"

Damien was given Ethan while Courtney came over and sat next to me. "What's so important?" she asked. I took her hands and we stood up.

"Courtney, I've enjoyed my life ever since you came into the picture. And when we started dating, it made my life even better. I want to ask you an important question that will bring both of us even closer." I got down on one knee anI opened the ring box, and her whole face lit up. "Courtney Ruth Miller, will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" 

"Oh my god, Shayne" she started to cry "Finally, I've been waiting for you to ask me that for so long. Yes, yes I will marry you!" I stood up and put the ring on her finger. "Its beautiful" she said sobbing "I love it and I love you" she hugged me so tight. I kissed her and Damien was cheering. We both looked at him.

"What?" he said "Did you forget I was here?" he laughed and we joined him. I'm engaged to the love of my life. I couldn't be happier.
