Even before saying it, her legs were already carrying her through the woods with her brother and friend following her. She heard yells behind her and her course changed direction when a spell hit the tree in front of her. She went left and only noticed after a while that she had lost both Alex and Chris.

"Merlin," she muttered, but she kept running.

She passed a lot of trees and she wondered when it would end — maybe it never would. The men must've cast a spell as they had been walking in circles in the afternoon, but sooner or later it would have to stop, right?

While running, she really regretted not doing any exercises or playing quidditch in her life — it really could've helped her right now. But she had never done it, which was why she had zero endurance for these long runs.

After a couple of minutes, she noticed that the only sound she heard was the sound of her feet hitting the ground. She looked back, trying to see if one of the men was still following her, but no one was there.

She decided to rest for a while and she knew it was dangerous, but she needed rest. She leaned against one of the trees while trying to catch her breath.

In the sky, the sun was slowly setting while covering the sky red — it almost seemed like it was showing her what would happen, that a lot of blood would be spilled. But it wasn't really red, she had told herself, hoping it would comfort her — her hoodie was red, not the sky — that wouldn't mean that she would die, right?

A big imagination, she hated it at that moment, it only made her terrified. She walked through the forest and a she felt a wave of relief as she noticed that she was nearing the end of the forest.

Picking up her pace, she made her way to the end and a smile appeared on her face as she reached it. She let herself fall down on the ground, her hands grazing the grass and smelling the fresh air — she made it.

"Who are you?" The sound of a girl's voice made Selina freeze and scold herself for letting her guard down. "Tell me!"

"I'm so sorry, I was just relaxing," Selina explained, but even before the words were out of her mouth, she knew the girl would never believe her.

"Yeah, right." When Selina turned to look at the girl, she noticed the wand in her hands.

"I didn't know this patch of ground was forbidden," she told the girl, her sarcasm defending her fragile state. "I can go?"

"As if." The girl kept her wan steady, not once letting it waver. "I don't care if you're a witch, you saw my wand — I need to cast obliviate on you."

"Why in Merlin's name would you have to do that?" Selina asked, narrowing her eyes at the girl.

"Because no one is supposed to know about this," the girl told her, but Selina could clearly see the doubt in the girl's eyes.

"Please, I don't want to lose my memories," Selina begged her, noticing the girl's wand waver this time. "Please, don't do this — I swear I'll never tell anyone."

"My Mum will find out — I have to do this," the girl told her, while trying to seem confident, but Selina knew she had made the girl unsure, she saw her chance and she would take it.

Surprising the girl, Selina kneed her in the stomach and grabbed the wand out of the girl's hand, turning it towards her.

"I'm really sorry, girl, but like I said, I don't want to lose my memories." She threw the wand away from them as far as she could and when she noticed the girl's eyes following the wand, Selina ran away from her as fast as she could. She was on the run once again.

It didn't take long before she could no longer see the farm and the girl behind her. She wandered through the abandoned streets and wondered why the farm was close to an abandoned village or at least a village where almost no one lived.

A feeling of dread washed over her as it felt like she was being watched. She turned around quickly, but she didn't see anyone — the streets were empty and even the houses seemed to be empty.

She picked up her pace and walked through the streets, but was stopped by a voice calling out on her, making her freeze.

"Stop!" She turned around and was met once again with the sight of the girl with the messy brown hair that almost seemed black. "Put your hands where I can see them!"

"Who are you, the muggle cops?" Selina asked, rolling her eyes, but showed the girl her hands anyway — she might be reckless and stupid at times, but she wasn't stupid enough to ignore the threat that was the girl.

"Muggle?" The girl asked, making Selina furrow her brows — how could a witch not know what a muggle was?

She was about to respond when a bang could be heard. Turning towards the source of the sound, she watched as a big cloud of smoke began to form and rise up in the air.

"Merlin, what just happened?" Selina whispered while slowly looking at the other girl, who had a frightened look on her face. "We need to go."

"Girl, we need to go," she told the girl, but she seemed to be made of stone as she didn't move an inch, but Selina had a pretty good idea of what happened and she didn't have the energy to face the wizards once again.

"How—How do I know if I can trust you?" The girl whispered and Selina let out a sigh, done with the girl. She grabbed the girl's elbow, who immediately tried to fight her off, but she had a steady grip and led the girl to one of the abandoned buildings — great, she just had one more life to worry about.

note !
So, I'm not going to say much about the girl, but what I'll tell you is that she will probably get her own book, which will be inspired by the fairytale Rapunzel.
