John finally was home again. "Do you think she'll like it?" He asked his sister, Lauren. "That you were gone for 3 nights? Nah, the surprise? One way to find out." Lauren shrugged and popped another Dorito in her mouth. Johnny ran upstairs and looked out of his window. Seeing Mackenzie reading. He opened his window and threw a pen at hers. She opened her window. "Whoever threw that pen your mom's a h- oh, hi John." She smiled. "Hey Kenz, I've got something for you, meet me at your porch in 10?" He asked. Mackenzie just nodded and rudely closed her window.
He's acting as if he wasn't gone for 3 days. She thought, while putting a hoodie over her white sleeping shirt. She cautiously tiptoed downstairs. When she reached the front door she slowly opened it, making sure no one would hear her. She saw Johnny waiting for her.
Johnny looked at her with big eyes. She was beautiful, really beautiful. "Let's go." He took her hand and led her to his car. "You're gonna kidnap me or something?" Mackenzie asked, while getting into the car. She plopped down onto the passengers seat, and Johnny in the drivers seat. "Nope." He said, while starting the car.
After a long trip full of laughing, singing and telling why it's bad to hold your pee (it's science!1!), they arrived at a place Mackenzie didn't know. 'Love cafe.' Was written on a pink illuminated sign. "Nadia said you've always wanted to go here, and it took me pretty long to reserve a spot here. Because, damn this place is popular." He grinned.
