Luke POV

Calum and Ashton made it their mission to find my secret admirer. I swear they're teenage girls at heart. We were at Calum's house after school (the rest of the day had been pretty uneventful, lots of boring classes and daydreaming.)

Apparently we were at Calum's to "investigate". These boys think they're Sherlock and Dr Watson.

"Okay so we know it's definitely a boy" said Ashton.

"And he's not straight" said Calum.

"And he's definitely not out of the closet"

"And he probably has some classes with Luke or else when would he have developed his little crush" Calum giggled.

"Any ideas Luke?"

"I still think this might be a trick" I murmured, looking down at my scuffed vans.

"Hey, hey, Luke, look at me" Ashton said, lifting my chin and looking me in the eyes.

"Think about it. No one has ever had a problem with you being gay. No one even cared. Who would bother their asses pranking you when no one has ever had a problem with you? You've never fought with anyone, never even irritated anyone so who would trick you like this? The answer is no one, which means that someone in our school likes you and the sooner you accept that the sooner you can find out who it is and run into the sunset with them, okay?"

I giggled at the last part, before nodding slightly and smiling shyly.

"Thanks" I said.

"Just told the truth" Ashton said. "Now, lets get back to investigating"

***********

45 minutes later and all we had figured out was that he was definitely a guy, definitely not straight, probably in some of my classes and maybe afraid to come out? We were basically no further on then we were 45 minutes ago.

"This is pointless guys" I said as we sat there figure out some more evidence relating to the mystery boy.

"I agree" sighed Calum.

"Okay, okay, this particular investigation is over... for now" said Ashton.

I groaned, already dreading the next "investigation". Remind me why I'm friends with this boy?

We said our goodbyes and I headed home. I hopped into my car turning my Blink CD up full volume, belting out the lyrics.

When I got home, I ran upstairs, panting when I reached the top. (Don't judge, I'm just not the athletic type.)

I decided to do some homework, my grades had been slipping lately and I wanted to prevent them from getting any worse.

I took out my history book, turning through the pages when suddenly a piece of paper floated down to my desk. I picked it up and read it quickly.

"Dear Luke. You're voice is heaven to my ears. I never want to stop listening to it. It goes from being sweet as honey to punk rock as hell. Also you have an amazing taste in music, I want to steal all your band shirts. Love, Your Secret Admirer"

I blushed stupidly, putting it down after re-reading it. Damn, this boy was really something.
