Maliki nervously made his way to the bed where Anna waited. She sat in a thin grey shirt that went down to her knees. From the two little bumps in the fae's shirt Maliki could tell she had been in the cold room for a while. She watched him patiently, making no moves for him but not making any against him either.
Maliki had never been with a woman before so he had no clue as what to do. Especially with a woman of another species. Usually the males in his pack were aggressive when it came to sex, making noises loud enough for everyone to hear from any place in the forest even if they didn't live near each other. Sometimes the males were louder than the females. He had never understood why.
Anna finally moved once Maliki had come within a foot of the bed. It was a small movement, only scooting over and sitting with her legs hanging over the edge of the bed. It stopped Maliki in his tracks. "I've heard that shifters are very good lovers but the experiences change depending on what animal you bed. Wolves-" she stopped mid sentence to stand and closing the gap between them, "-are apparently some of the best."
Maliki's mouth had gone dry. Anna smiled reached forward, gently grabbing Maliki's wrists and placing his hands on her hips. It became obvious that Anna had done this before and from the sweet smile she threw his way, he became aware of how obvious it was that he had not. Once his hands were placed on the girl's hips he became aware of just how thin the shirt was.
Something pooled in his gut as Anna trailed her hands up along Maliki's forearms, then his biceps, sliding them along his shoulders, and finishing by snaking her arms around his neck. Even with the long sleeved shirt covering nearly every place Anna touched there were still endless chills running through his body. "You can go slow or fast with me. I won't bite unless you do."
He wasn't sure if that was a warning or an invitation but something deep within wanted to find out.
There was an eternity that passed between them. Silent, patient, heavy. All the while that feeling pooling in Maliki's gut finally became so full that it needed release. He needed release. So he did the only thing that made sense.
He kissed her.
It was quick and uncomfortable. If his inexperience wasn't evident before then it definitely was now.
He pulled away quickly, unsure of what to do now and with his eyes still closed. He didn't want to see the displeasure on Anna's face. His body went stiff, preparing for the slap that he knew was soon to come or to be yelled at and ordered to leave. Instead all he felt was a gentle hand on his cheek. Anna's thumb began tracing small circles on the boy's cheek. She did this a few times before he finally eased his eyes open and looked down at the fae.
There was no displeasure on her face. Her eyes weren't alight with mischief, her hands weren't balled into fists or arched for an effective smack across his face. Nothing about Anna's body was even tense. She was loose, relaxed. He could feel her every movement from where his hands were on her hips although he didn't remember them being this low a few seconds ago.
"Nice try," Anna said with a light chuckle. "But try this instead." This time she leaned in and kissed him. It was gentle and inviting. Maliki followed her lead easily and leaned in as well, tilting his head slightly so it was more comfortable for them both.
It was one of lust, the only passion needed for the two of them in this moment. Maliki absentmindedly pulled Anna closer, deepening the kiss and pressing her body against his own. A particularly chilly wind shot into the room and Anna pulled slowly, backing away until her calves pressed against the bed. Maliki was disappointed and felt as if he had done something wrong for the first few moments until Anna reached forward and pulled him towards her. Maliki nervously stepped forward and ended up tripping on his own two feet, falling forward and taking Anna down with him.
