Xylie's P.O.V

I saw the tear roll down Ethan's cheek and it brought be back to the twins' birth when he shed a single tear and my heart melted. I just stood there staring in awe at my babies with their father for the first time in years.

"So, can I get an explanation now?" Scott said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Why did you leave?" I just looked down. I couldn't tell them, not with Ethan right there.

"It's okay, you can tell them. It's fine." Ethan said.

I made eye contact with Scott. "Don't get mad, but when E and I were sixteen he cheated on me with Demi; I- walked in on them." Scott clenched his jaw and his hands made fists. Allison noticed and she turned his head to face her and kissed him, he relaxed.

"Calm down baby, it's okay." She whispered in his ear, she seemed have a way with him.

We discussed everything that's happened in the past five years and played with the twins and then decided to part ways and go home when it started to get late.

A week later, Emma's birthday

Scott and Allison are watching the twins while Emma and I are are shopping for her birthday. We get her some cute new outfits and we both just enjoy the time we're spending together, a girls day out was exactly what we needed. Although, Emma's been acting a little different lately, like something's wrong with her, she seems a little upset every now and again. Like last night for example, a couple hours after we'd put the twins to bed I was walking past her room on my way to my room and I heard her crying; I knocked on her door and asked if she was okay and she told me she was so I just brushed it off but I know she wasn't and I only didn't go in and question her about whatever's going on because it was the middle of the night and she was editing her recent YouTube video which goes up today.

We finish shopping and decide to go to Philz, we get our coffee and drive home. After we put everything she got in her room I decided to give her the gift I got her a couple days ago.

"Hey so I got you something, here." I say as I hand her the wrapped gift.

"What? I thought the girls shopping trip was my gift, you got me something else?" She asked, surprised; I nodded, smiling at how happy she looked.
