"Hey hunk, did you attach the wires?" Pidge asked, watching her screen.

"Yep, good to go." He held a thumbs up.

Lance sat to the side thinking to himself. He was currently hiding. Shiro had come to him earlier asking why he had been avoiding Keith. He stuttered and tried to find an excuse to say but in truth, he didn't like Keith. As in 'Like-Like' him. but because they bonded, he felt protective of him and the need to be around him, and to hold him. Unfortunately, Keith walked into the room at the wrong time and heard the conversation. He wasnt happy about it.

After that, Shiro wanted the two to have a Bonding excersize to help them sort out their issues. Lance wasn't too keen on it though.

He didn't think Keith would want to either.

So he crept away and decided to see if Pidge or Hunk needed a hand with something. He had found them both in the green lion's Bay working on something he didn't understand. But he'd rather spend time here then with Keith trying to form a relationship he knew he wouldn't like.

Keith dodged a galiator's sword, ducking out of the way. He gained some distance and waited for it to turn towards him. He launched himself towards it, swinging his sword and damaging it. The floor opened up and the drone fell through.

"End training sequence!" Keith breathed a sigh of relief, wiping the sweat from his brow then heading off to get a bottle of water.

Shiro was currently trying to find Lance so they could do this so called 'bonding exercise' which would help there relationship bloom and help them work together in battle. However, Lance looked like hed rather die then spend time with Keith alone, by the expression on his face when Shiro brought it up. Keith didn't really care . . . Much.

Truth be told, he did care.

He cared a great deal more then he should. But he couldn't help it. He was the one who bit Lance first. He wasn't thinking Clearly and it happened way to fast. But he didn't regret it. He did enjoy the blue paladins eccentric personality and jokes, when he wasn't trying to pick fights. And he had a nice smile and he was good with kids.

What's not to love about him.

Keith smiled.

"What are you smiling about?"

Keith looked up to see Shiro walking towards him. Guess looking for Lance failed. Keith's smile faded and he took a swig of his water. "Nothing."

"Really, cause that smile didn't look like nothing." He sat down beside him. A silence placed through them. It was welcomed.

"I just- I," Keith cupped his face in frustration. Shiro stayed silent, better to let him vent and not push him. "I just don't understand him. He's kind, funny and quirky. But he's annoying and flirty and sometimes makes me want to punch him in the face. But-"

Shiro nodded, "But?"

Keith sighed, running fingers through his hair. "I like him. Like, really like him. It's why I bit him first. Hell, it's why I even let him help me with my heat in the first place."

"Keith, you know that's not the right thing to do, especially when both parties are not in agreement."

"I know, but I wasn't really thinking straight, he was there and I thought it was just a delusion caused by the heat, and it was just nice having him there with me. But it was a mistake and now this is where we are."

A heavy sigh escaped Shiro's lips. "Maybe talk to him? Who knows, you two might be able to sort something out?"

That wasn't a bad idea. The only problem was that they hadn't really spoken since the heat, Nor did they bicker. But talking things out might help a bit.

"OK, I'll do that then."

"Well, I better head to the bridge to sort a few things out. I hope you two can figure something out."

He left Keith to think for a while.

Super short chapter I know. Sorry for the long wait. I was having a lot of trouble figuring out what to do with this story. But I hope to put out chapters a lot sooner then this one.
