In The Future: Part 4

6 months later:

"Kids, stop talking to your sister she is trying to take a nap!" I yelled to the kids who kept talking to Alaska through her crib. They all came running into the kitchen where I was.
"Mommy, Laska is crying," Kenyon said. I went in and grabbed her. I walked back out and fed the others then fed Alaska.
"Come on we have to get you guys to dance class," I said and they cheered. I loaded them up and we drove there. We were running a little late so as soon as I got there they headed in. I sat next to Gianna and started rocking Alaska.
"I need to talk to you," she said and I knew it was serious.
"Yeah sure what's wrong," I asked her.
"So I have a mother who has found out she's pregnant at the age of 15. She does not want to keep her child but she wants to know her child is going to a family right away," She said. Gianna works in child care and adoption places. "She has made a request that the family has at least one boy and one girl and is experienced with kids. We can't find anyone though who is willing to take the child but I know you already have seven kids but I was willing to take the chance and ask if you would adopt the child," she said and I was shocked. "You know what never mind," she said and went on her phone.
"When I can I meet the mother?" I asked out of nowhere. She looked at me with wide eyes and a smile.
"We can go tonight if your husband can watch your kids," she said. I nodded. I would have Avis watch them while Westin came with me. I texted Avis and asked if he could watch them but didn't tell him why. Then I texted Wes.

M- Hey Wes we need to talk
W- what's wrong are you ok? Are the kids ok?
M- everyone's fine. You remember Gianna from dance
W- uh yeah
M- she works with adoption places. There is a teenager who is having a baby but can't keep it. She wanted a family with one of each gender already and Gianna asked me. We need to go meet her tonight
W- this is all so sudden though Mavis. Shouldn't we discuss it a little more
M- Westin, this is a 15 year old girl who needs a family for her child and if that's gonna be me, then it's gonna be me
W- ok Who is watching the kids
M- Avis
W- ok see you tonight

4 hours later:

Avis finally got here and we were running late. We were meeting Gianna and the mother at a restaurant. I changed into my outfit. We drove over to the restaurant and saw Gianna with the mother. We walked over and sat down.
"Thank you for coming today Mavis," Gianna said hugging me. "Mavis, Westin, this is Julia. Julia, this is Mavis and Westin," Gianna said and we shook hands. Then Julia started crying.
"Thank you so much! I was getting so worried I just couldn't do it," she said. I got up and gave her a hug.
"Oh please don't cry then I'll start crying," I said and we all laughed. We talked and got to know each other. Julia was so kind and so excited that we would adopt her child.
"Do we know a gender yet?" I asked her.
"I actually just found out today," she said smiling. "It's a girl," she said and we smiled.
"Do you have any name ideas?" Westin asked her.
"I was actually thinking you guys would like to pick but I have a few," she said.
"Well Let's here them," I said and she smiled.
"I have three. Annalei Magsie, Jaqueline Judeth, or Kesley Cooper," she said.
"Oh my god I love them all," I said and she smiled.
"Me too so you guys will have to pick," she said.
"Well six of my kids have a name that start with K so I think that we should go with Kesley Cooper," I said and she smiled. After the dinner and saying bye to Julia and Gianna, we drove home. We walk in and the kids all run up and hug us.
"How were they?" I asked Avis.
"I'm not ready for kids," he said handing me Alaska who he was holding and I laughed.
"Well thank you," I said. He left and we put all the kids to bed.
"Can you believe that in five months we will have eight kids," Westin said.
"It's crazy," I said. We then fell asleep.

4 months later:

"Mommy!" Kadence yelled.
"Yes Kade?" I asked her.
"Can we play outside?" She asked. I walk into the living room where they all are.
"Sure. Go put your shoes on," I told them as they all went and did that. I put Alaska's shoes on and we all went outside. They started playing on the play set and I was coloring with Alaska. Alaska has started talking a little but not walking yet even though she is 10 months old. Then my phone rang.
