Jennie's POV

It's Saturday morning and I woke up earlier than usual I'm planning to visit Lisa's mom I just couldn't figure out what to bring. I scrabbled through my med tryna find where my phone is. *tHud*

"aish!" i mumbled
there it was on the floor.

"Siri, play Robbers by 1975"

"Who the hell plays Robbers by 1975 early in the morningggggg?!!!" Chae shouted

"I do Chae I do!" I shouted back and giggled as I know I interrupted her sleep.

"C'mon now Jen!" she argued back

"Hell nah im tryna be productive today" I smiled and made my way down to the kitchen.

As usual everyone greeted me with a grin on their faces.

"I'm gonna cook for Lisa's mom!" I squealed.

"You're gonna what miss?" one of the maids asked in confusion

"I'm gonna cook! yes I'm gonna cook." I answered back and heard Chae laughing from upstairs.

"You might end up burning your whole house silly!"

"Wait until i actually cook something.." I answered confidently

"Leo! Luca!" I shouted and the two came running

"What is it miss?" the two said in unison with a worried face as if there is something terribly happened to me

"Can you two relax? I was just gonna ask can you recommend something for me to cook?" I smiled as I showed my gummy smile

"Pizza!" says Leo

"Lasagna!" says Luca

"Uhh, prolly gonna go with lasagna! Maybe next time Leo!" i heard a slight sigh from Leo and a giggle from Lucas

I began prepping my ingredients for my lasagna cutting here and there Chae came to help but turns out she only helps for peice of cheese.

I finally made my first lasagna and its time for a taste test.

"So how did it taste???" i asked Leo, Luca and Chae everyine just nod in agreement.

"Okay im gonna make another batch!" I sighed

"No no Jen! it's okay!" Chae assured me

"Okay??? I'm not gonna settle for that besides its still early" I answered back and so i began prepping yet another batch of ingredients cutting here and there.

*dinggggg!*

"Okay taste test!" I squealed and everyone came rushing

"How was it? I think I nailed it this time" I asked eyeing everyone

"Uh huh! mmmh too much salt" Leo mumbled

Chae and Lucas scolded Leo for being honest

"Guys it's okay im gonna make another one again if I have to" I sighed it disbelief.

"Or?! you can just call up Gordon Ramsay to cook and so that you can also have a culinary session with him too! ain't that nice?" Chae recommended and I did just what she said.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" Chae squealed

"I'll come with you!" I demanded

"I can't believe Gordon will be showing at your doorstep!" Chae sounded excited than I.

"You know I'm starting to think you suggested this for you to benefit from it. Right!!! you're such a big Gordon Ramsay fan how can I not think of that! Youuuu!" I said eyeing Chae

"Okay, first of all yes you are right as always but I finally suggested something that will get you out from your misery which is cooking" she answered back and she's right. I only wanted what's best for Lisa's mom and I'm not gonna settle for less.

Everyone in the house wasn't so surprise with Gordon Ramsay showing up they've been pretty much used to celebrities in the house. Only Chae has been fangirling since he came.

Gordon started prepping his ingredients in just minutes which would take me an hour to prepare, everyone watches in awe and in just an hour everything was done

"Voilá! Dig in everyone!" Gordon said in monotone

AT Lisa's HOUSE --
Mrs. Manoban is in her living room watching through her VCR.

Doorbell RINGS.

*Ringgggg!*

She looks up, surprised.

SHE OPENS THE FRONT DOOR --
-- to reveal a smiling Jennie, carrying a homemade lasagna.

Jennie's POV

I visited your mom yesterday and I wanted to see her before I went back to school again. I hope that’s okay.
AT THE DINING ROOM TABLE --
Mrs. Manoban sets two places.

We settled in talks and ended up talking about you--  so we had
plenty of conversation.

Lisa's POV

Christmas that year was a dismal affair, but it’s always dismal when you’re far from home. It wasn’t my first Christmas alone during my years in the service.

Every holiday had been spent in Germany, and a couple of guys in our barracks had rigged up a tree of sorts-a green tarp braced with a stick and decorated with blinking lights. More than half of my buddies had gone home- I was one of the unlucky ones who had to stay in case our friends the Russians got it in their heads that we were still mortal enemies- and most of the others trooped into town to celebrate Christmas Eve by getting bombed on quality German beer. I’d already opened the package Jennie had sent me- a sweater that reminded me of something Taeyhung would wear and a batch of homemade cookies-and knew she’d already received the perfume I’d sent her. But I was alone, and as a gift to myself, I splurged on a phone call to Jennie. She hadn’t expected the call, and I replayed the excitement in her voice for weeks afterward. We ended up talking for more than an hour. I had missed the sound of her voice. I’d forgotten her lilting accent and the twang that grew more pronounced whenever she started speaking quickly. I leaned back in my chair, imagining that she was with me and listening as she described the falling snow. At the same time, I realized it was snowing outside my window as well, which, if only for an instant, made it feel as if we were together.
