Blood began to seep from inside the creature's mouth, dribbling down its tongue and out of its mouth at a growing rate. I could feel its grip on me lessening, growing weak, its eyes rolling back in its head, a deathly black spreading through its gaze like spilt ink. The creature stood high above me, its head craning backwards before it fell limp, collapsing down beside me, a long deep hole in the back of its skull gushing with escaping blood.
My eyes were wide as I stared at the dead creature, then moving up to the culprit that had killed it.

I worried a deeper more powerful force stood behind it, but to my surprise, stood a man, a human man wiping his long sword blade soaked in blood with a dark cloth in front of me.
