Jennie sits on rocks and stares at the sea and pulls out a birthday cake and puts on the scarf she wore 10 years ago when she left her house knowing her mother was dead. She lights the candles on her cake.
"I need a job,I want the situation of my relatives to improve and lastly I want a boyfriend"
Then suddenly the skies threaten rain...
Its so unfair to rain when I don't have an umbrella!"
Suddenly Lisa appeared and Jennie startled when the girl spoke.
"Did you summoned me?"
"I didn't summoned you"
"You did it"
"Are you a ghost?"
"Im not a ghost"
"I don't believe you"
"Why can't you see your future"
"Coz I don't have future,who are you? Are you a con woman?"
Jennie holds out her hands for the flowers.
"I deserve those flowers"
Lisa hands her the flowers.
"What does these flowers mean?"
"Those flowers are between lovers"
They stared at each other.
"Why are you crying,I heard your wish and do you know I grant wishes?"
"Are you my genie?..I need money or I want to know which lottery number to pick?"
Lisa tells her to say goodbye to her family because she won't see them for a while. Lisa tells her to keep looking for a job. She disappears. Jennie calls after her, what about my boyfriend? Ha!Disgusted, Jennie calls her a poor sport.
When Lisa returns home, the God of Death is there. They don't appear to recognize each other. Seulgi is showing the home to him. The young girl explains that renting it out while her uncle is gone for 20 years makes sense money wise.
"Do you realize who is this woman?"Lisa asked
"Our new tenant owns tea houses!"Seulgi answered
"I already paid your nephew a hefty cash deposit"Jisoo said
"You better leave"Lisa told Jisoo
Jisoo holds up the signed lease. Lisa points her finger at the lease and it goes up in flames.
"Its just a copy and I'm moving tomorrow."Jisoo said
"Just leave"Lisa responded
"Just pack your things or you can take the life of the young girl who signed the lease with me" Jisoo added
"You are welcome to stay in my house"Lisa smiled
"Its my house!" Jisoo yelled
They stare the stare of old adversaries. They dine together. They irritate each other.
Jennie stares at the flowers she got from Lisa and scoffs at the idea of lovers. The next day she goes in search of a job. Jennie takes a break after many rejections. Jennie snipes that her genie was wrong about finding a job.Jennie sees a paper on fire and puts it out with her water. Suddenly,Lisa appear in front of her.
"Why are you following me?"
"You summoned me"
"I didn't know how I did it and I don't believe you. The job search you said was a bust"
"You summoned me unlike anyone else ever has"
"What do you know about me?"
"You got a school uniform on and you're pretty."
"Am I fairy like Tinker Bell?"
Lisa disappears. Jennie was irritated, she let her get away without asking Lisa's number.
Jennie figures out she can summon Lisa by blowing out fire. Jennie summons her by blowing out a candle in church. Lisa was not impressed with her location choice. Lisa starts to walk away from her.
"Why didn't you dissapear?"
"I can't do this thing inside a church,its a dead zone for my powers"
"Then when will you grant my wishes,I want a boyfriend first?"
"That will take too much effort"
Lisa leaves.
Jennie puts a candle app on her phone. She blows out the candle. Lisa appears. She's thrilled. Lisa is irritated. She turns to leave and Jennie grabs her arm. Blue smoke comes off her arm. Lisa sees it. It doesn't look like she did. But she releases her arm.
"It is too hot"
"The blue flame is the hottest"
"Are you a goblin?"
"Then who are you?"
"This will sound weird but I'm the goblin's bride"
She shows him the mark that she believes identifies her as the Goblin's bride. Lisa remembers saving her mother from death. She tells her to prove it. Jennie doesn't know how.
"Then, what do you see when you look at me?"
"You are tall,you have expensive clothes, and kinda good looking."
"If that's all,then you are not the goblin's bride"
Lisa walks through a time portal. Jennie follows starling him.
"Our conversation is not yet over"
"How did you followed me through the door?"
"I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door,where are we?"
"Canada"
Jennie is stunned. Then she's thrilled.
Jennie strides forward. She stops.
"I know what's next,I'll marry you"
She smiles and declares that she loves her. Lisa stares at Jennie's smiling face.She points out that Lisa's not actively turning her down. Lisa tells her to stop it, but she's having too much fun at her expense and decides they're going sightseeing. "Think of it as our honeymoon," she says as she leads the way.
