CHAPTER 8

Jennie's POV

I stopped by my aunt's house. I couldn't believe what I have seen. I have seen that my aunt put the house up for sale. Then one of my neighbour told me to take my belongings in the house.

I stared at the dried bouquet of flowers. I recalled the time when Lisa gave me those kind of flowers. Aishhh!! Why am I even thinking about her

My teacher tells me to empty my backpack.what a bad day!

"So why do you have a lighter? Your classmates reported to me that you smoke"my teacher asked

She even smelled my hand but there is no odor or stains from nicotine. Does she really hate me so much?

"You are the worst kind of person. You acts innocent but  you're really a schemer!"my teacher said to me

Lisa's POV

I shared my beer with Jisoo before I leave. I really want to see Jennie but I can't find her and that makes me drive crazy.

"Then why don't you call her?"Jisoo advices me

"I doesn't have phone number of her" I replied

After a little conversation with Jisoo,I already knew where Jennie is. I get my umbrella and leave the house.

I saw Jennie stares at the sea. She talks to her mother.She cries that she is alone and unhappy. It started to rain and I opened my umbrella over her head,then she turned to me.

"It is raining because I am sad,so how are you?" I told her

"I didn't call you"she replied

"I have been busy"I told her

"From now on when it rains, I will think of you and worry that you are sad. I admit that I am sad too"Jennie said that made me blushed

"I want you to take this pressed leaf from our trip to Quebec"she gave me the leaf

"Thanks" I thanked to her

"Its pretty"she added

I stroked her hair and that and that made her confused.

"What are you doing?"she asked

"I hope that you will be well" I answered

Me and Jisoo share the couch though on opposite sides.Suddenly the door bell rings.  I realized that its the first time rung in 60 years. Me and Jisoo became nervous and the doorbell rungs again. Jisoo opens the door and I heard a familiar voice.

"Is this the Goblin's house"a girl asked and I think its Jennie

Jisoo approached her and spins away. She run into me and it is really Jennie.

"How did you know I lived here?" I asked her

"I asked the ghosts where do you live" she answered

"Are you living with the Grim Reaper?"she whispered and asked me

"Only through today" I answered

"Why are you here" I asked again

"What happens when I can see it?" she asked me too

"It does not matter because you cannot see it" I bragged out to her

"I can see it,will you stay?"she asked

"Prove it"I said

"What if I can see it then what will I get"she keeps on saying that she really sees it(the sword)

"You can't see it" I told her

"I can see it"she said

She points something in my body and it was the sword!She stares at me and I stared at her.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked

"Im afraid of the consequences,but now Im being comfortable for being the Goblin's bride" she said

"Wait for me to get back" I told her

I rushed to tell the Jisoo that Jennie is the Goblin's bride.I can die now.

"Does it make you happy or afraid"Jisoo asked

"A little of both" I answered

"Escort her,when the time to die comes"Jisoo told me

I heard the doorbell rung again.

"You need to be patient" I told Jennie

"Fate has brought us together and fate made me homeless"she said

"Can I live in your house?" she begged

Surprisingly Jisoo is okay with this. I told Jennie that she can stay in the living room for now but she’s not to snoop.

I offered Jennie $5M as I slides the money envelope across the table. Jennie refuses. She didn’t know everything then that she knows now. She said that this house is perfect to raise children in. 

"We must have a happy life in this house"she suggested

"Do you want me to be sexy, professional, or wise?" she asked me

"You are already perfect" I murmured

"What did you say?"she aksed

"Ahh..I m-mean you can unpack now" I stuttered
