"How many times do I have to tell you? I don't need a tutor."Taehyung said firmly looking at Yein and Jungkook who's sitting right in front of him.
Jungkook placed his pen down on the table and looked at his friend.
"Taehyung, whether you admit it or not, you're badly in need of a tutor." Jungkook said a matter of fact.
Yein took a quick glance at Jungkook who is sitting a chair away from her. She felt her heart beating fast at the sight of a very serious Jungkook she looked very handsome for her. But she snapped her thoughts away.
"Jungkook is right Taehyung. Your grades dropped. You need someone to help you. Its a relief that my friend volunteered to tutor you despite her busy schedule." Yein added to Jungkook's statement.
Taehyung shot her a look.
"What do you want me to do then? Celebrate? I told you already right. I will quit school and just take good care of my grandmother right?" Taehyung said annoyed.
"I know you did. Jungkook and I both heard you clearly when you told us about it. But we can't-"
"Why do you even care you're not even our closest friend." Taehyung snapped at Yein.
Yein's eyes widened in shock. She felt a lump in her throat at what she heard.
"Taehyung." Jungkook said cautiously as he glanced at Yein who is in the verge of tears at what Taehyung said.
Yein hurriedly packed her things and left the library. Jungkook followed her with his eyes.
He shot Taehyung a glare.
"That was unnecessary Taehyung! Yein didn't do anything wrong for you to shut her off like that." Jungkook said annoyed.
Taehyung scoffed.
"Stop acting like you didn't like what happened. I know how much you like Yein to leave our group ever since she confessed to you. I just did the both of us favor." Taehyung said.
Jungkook calmed himself before looking at Taehyung with blazing eyes.
"You don't know anything Taehyung. You don't." Jungkook said and left to follow Yein.
Taehyung was taken aback at his younger friend's behavior but shrugged it off. He's still annoyed at the two.
Jungkook left the library and runned around the halls looking for Yein. He also tried calling her but she would decline his call.
He ruffled his hair in frustration. He took his phone out again and called Yein's driver.
"Is Yein with you?" He asked.
"Can I talk to her?"
He heaved a sigh when Yein refused to talk to him.
"Please tell her that I apologize for Taehyung's behavior earlier. I hope she can understand him." Jungkook said before ending the call.
Jungkook went back to the library where he saw Taehyung carelessly sitting on the chair while playing with his phone.
Jungkook snatched Taehyung's phone from his hands.
"Hey!"
"Apologize to Yein tomorrow." Jungkook said firmly as he took his seat.
"Why would I?" Taehyung asked.
"Because she is our friend and you hurted her feelings." Jungkook said
"Come on Jungkook, as if you really liked hanging out with her. We took her in since her mother asked us to do. Not like we really want to be with her." Taehyung reasoned out.
"Ahh, So everything Yein had done for you for the past two years are just nothing? Grow up Taehyung. It's just an issue about your tutor, you don't need to act like a child. Your words were below the belt."
"I told you right I don't want to have a tutor." Taehyung whined.
"You can simply just say it like that after Yein finished her sentence. You didn't need to shut her off like that." Jungkook said pissed.
Taehyung suddenly felt guilty.
Silence engulfed the two.
"I'll talk to Yein tomorrow. And whether you like it or not, I'll tell your grandmother about what you have said to Yein and your grades dropping low." Jungkook said as he stood up and grabbed his things.
Taehyung's eyes widened he sat up straight and looked at Jungkook.
Taehyung suddenly remembered how strict his grandmother is with his respect towards girls and how grade conscious his grandmother can be with his grades.
He will not like what is about to happen when this reaches his grandmother.
"Yah! I'll apologize to Yein and agree to have a tutor. Just don't tell grandma about it, she'll skin me alive!" Taehyung begged.
Jungkook turned to face him, he gave Taehyung a sly smirk.
"Learn your lesson dumbass." he said before leaving.
Taehyung was left there speechless. He ruffled his hair thinking about her grandmother's nagging and how he'll be grounded for who knows how long.
