The earth laughs at flowers. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Now don't get your hopes up, walking into this house was no mansion. You can tell Lillie has trouble cleaning up this house; just by walking through the front door and almost tripping over an army of shoes says it all. But there was something about this house, it didn't smell like anything I've smelt before. The orphanage never smelled like this, nor did any of my friends houses smelt like this, it was like a smell chained to a faded memory that I couldn't describe at the moment.

"Mom? You're already home so soon? I thought you weren't coming back til ten," A voice woke me from my thoughts.

About a few feet away, peeking into the dining room, Lillie was ahead confronting another large body. A boy still taller than me, shirtless with sandy, blonde hair; he looked panicked seeing Lillie's arrival home and still didn't noticed Casper and I.

Lillie snorted, grabbing a tshirt and throwing it at him,"Nice to see you too goofball, now please go take a shower- you have guests," The golden boy turned his head to the front door then painted a big smile meeting eyes with Casper and I.

"Casper! Whoa dude, I thought you were coming back next week? Calum is gonna freak when he sees you," His expression turned from happy to concerned.

Ignoring my existence, he ran down the hallway with Casper suddenly following, asking numerous questions to his comment. I took off my shoes and walked through the living room into the the kitchen and finding Lillie, trying to clean up the mess the boys made while she was away. I sat in one of the stools and watched,

"I'm sorry for the mess dear, maybe having you around will help me have more hands around the house,"

I quickly got out of my chair and started helping Lillie with the dishes," It'll keep me occupied don't worry, I would love to help. So, which son did I just meet?"

"Well, you heard Calum's name mentioned, but the sleepless boy you just saw was Carson. He tends to look like that quite often, if it makes you uncomfortable I can make sure he changes from now on,"

We both laughed placing the now clean dishes into the cabinet,

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW! YOU BOTH DISGUST ME," The house rumbled as I recognized Casper's voice. Footsteps thundered down the stairs when Lillie and I rushed to front door seeing quite the scene. It was who I assume Calum, tripping in his own underwear out the door with a girl latched to him; she had black hair and a slim body, you could tell she just threw her clothes on. Then there was Casper, his sweatshirt off and just a simple tshirt wrapped his body as he kept screaming at the two. Carson now appeared behind me, Casper sweatshirt now on himself, fixing his hair and watching what was happening; you could tell he was embarrassed.

I stood back, not trying to get myself into any trouble with them," Casper what on earth is going on?!" Lillie's motherly voice now in gear.

"That little shit was casually screwing Meg, isn't that a lovely present to come home to," Casper beamed, he almost looked like he was sweating that's how mad he was.

Lillie took a deep breathe," Well, you didn't have to kick him out, this is the last thing we needed right now. You could scare poor Roseleen away and I was just starting to like her," All boys looked at me, both the twins looking me up and down.

"Casper can you please show Roseleen to her room, and you two, take showers then come help me with dinner. I want everyone to cool off before your father comes home," Lillie sighed turned back to the kitchen.
