One last time I wish to bring you home again, just one.

Seeing you with another guy. Specifically my childhood best mate, Matt. You don't know that. He kept it secret that he even knew me. The lad, about him, a lot better lookin' than me, definitely.q crystal blue eyes, decently tall, short dark brown beard, and hair the unstyled messy look. Same brown colour, he has a good build too. Practically everything you could ever want in a guy.

I sigh as I look at you and Matt from across the bar, memories flooding back at 10 million miles per hour

You noticed me, shot a fucking million dollar smile you posses. Your hair like always, drop dead gorgeous with no effort. I can't remember the last time you made an effort, even in a messy casual outfit. That's just you, god damn perfect

I saw Matt whisper something to you then. Your cheeks rising in colour immediately to an intense blush, smiling and heading out the door with your man.

Once you left I wobbled home, crying thinking about us, together. Wishing you never Matt. But of course I want nothing better for you than to be happy. Guess that just wasn't me.
