Urie's lil Sinner (Brendon Urie)

25: piano

It's the next day and we've been up for a little while.
It's currently 12pm, and we're in the studio drinking a beer together.
Brendon thought it would be a good idea to show me how to play the piano seeing as I'm completely useless.

"Baby... listen, you're gunna be perfect." He said as I shook my head and he walked me up to the big black piano, the black and white keys shining with a red reflection of the 'urielectric' florescent light.
"If you say so." I answered as we both placed our cups down on top of the piano and Brendon showed me the basics of playing piano and told me to copy the keys he was pressing but press them on the other side which are the lower keys.

He started with a simple tune but I managed to make it complicated in some way, as he pressed on some keys effortlessly I did the same on the other side and it kind of sounded ok.
The more turns we got, the more keys he added.
By the end of the practice, I must of had at least 7 different keys to remember. I know that's litterally nothing compared to when you're playing a song but it's hard for me seeing as I've never played before.

Suddenly, he stopped and said "you just played 'dying in LA' on the piano!" I was so shocked but after thinking over it, I really did do that.
"Wow... can we try it again?" I asked as he smiled.
"Yeah then maybe you can try and do it yourself!" He said as I cringed a little as I can't imagine myself playing the piano in front of him all by myself.

As we went over the keys faster and faster, I started to get the hang of it and I surprisingly remembered how to do it all by myself, I felt like a kid who just learnt how to ride a bike for the first time.
"I told you, you'll be perfect at this!" Brendon said as I looked up at him, seeing as he is now standing up next to me with his beer in his hand.
Taking small sips every now and then I did the same.

"It'll be really cool to hear you write a song one day." Brendon explained as I shook my head.
"I don't know Brendon... playing piano and singing is your thing." I said as he chuckled at himself.
"Ok, well... maybe this could be our thing!" He said which really shocked me.
"You really love me, don't you Brendon?" I asked as he smiled and sat next to me on the small stool.
"Yeah I do Amy, I just don't want to loose you." He said while holding onto my cheek and placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Why do you think you're gunna loose me?" I asked as I trully want to know what's going on in that head of his.
"I'm just scared that I'm gunna do something stupid and scare you away... it's happened before." He said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Before? What happened?" I asked as he shook his head.
"Well, I was seeing this girl about the same age as you acctually... I told her that I loved her and I treated her like a queen, I was keeping a secret from her and I was gunna tell her but then she found out the hard way and I couldn't fix it..." he said and looked down at his feet.

"What was the secret?" I asked as he stood up continuing to shake his head.
"I can't tell you. Plus it's not gunna be a secret for long so I wouldn't worry if I was you." He explained as I got up and he kissed my lips before leaving the room.
What was the secret? And why is he hiding it from me?

Sitting in my bedroom Brendon soon walked in with a smile on his face.
"Hey!" I said all happy.
"Hey... you'll be happy to hear that you'll be coming to iheart radio's red carpet event tonight... with me. I have someone coming round to fit you in your dress and trust me, I picked it out and you're gunna love it." He explained while walking over to me and sitting on my bed, I was currently cuddling Bogart and Penny on my bed.
"Really? That sounds so exciting!" I said and I wasn't lying, I'm acctually really excited for this.
"Yup and I'm happy you're excited." He said before planting a small peck on my lips.
