Niall stepped inside the studio and looked around. "Paul?" he called.
"Yes, Nialler?" Paul asked as he came from around the corner.
"I was wondering if you could help me with something, mate."
"Sure, sure. What's that?"
"Well, um, it's about the wedding."
"Mhmm."
"I'm a bit nervous....but.....I want to impress Zayn. He's impressed me so much so I want to do the same for him."
"What do you have in mind?"
"Well, a honeymoon of course." Niall laughed.
Wincing, Paul took the papers that Niall was holding. They were brocures about hotels in Hawaii, Spain, Italy, and the Caribbean. "Oooo the Caribbean." Paul grinned.
"You think I should choose that one?"
"Hm....I think that would be a perfect choice."
"Are you sure though? I want to make sure it's right."
"I think it is. You've already been to Spain and Italy. The Caribbean is something different."
"True." Niall took in a deep breath, "I'll tell him about it tonight."
Smiling, Paul handed him the brocures back, "Anything else you need, lad?"
"Yes....um....I can't make it to rehearsal today."
"Why not? You're here now?"
"I know but....I need a break."
"From....?"
"From work. My throat hurts."
"Niall, is something going on?"
"Nothing is."
"Are you sure about that? You're acting rather weird and it concerns me."
"I'm fine....I'll text you later."
"Alright but just miss this one. Okay?"
"Yes, sir."
Niall came home to an empty house. He walked in, shut the door, locked it, and flipped through the fan mail that was on the table. Smiling, he opened one of the envelopes, and read:
Dear Niall, I just wanted to write you and let you know how excited I am for you and Zayn. I think it's a great thing what you're doing. You're proving that love is love and I adore you for that. I think you should be very proud of yourself. I have a soft spot for you. I love all the members of 1D but you're something different--I mean that in a good way. You're the unique one. You're Irish. I'm Irish to. I wish you the best wishes with Zayn! Forever and always! xoxo
Reading the letter helped Niall so very much. He was still smiling when he sealed it and tucked it into his back pocket. It made him realize that he had forever with Zayn and that it was an amazing thing. He couldn't let that pass him by. He booked a hotel in the Caribbean, booked tickets for a one-way fight, and tickets for the flight back. He also called security to come with them. Everything was planned. He was so excited to tell Zayn. He decided to go to that rehearsal after all.
"Paul said you weren't feeling very well. Are you alright?" Harry asked while they were at rehearsal. "I'm fine. Where's Zayn?" Niall pressed
"I dunno. He hasn't shown up yet. I assume he's signing autographs and everything like that."
"Probably so." Niall whispered then took a bite of his cookie. He sipped his Red Bull then turned back to Harry, "Are you excited about the wedding?"
"Of course I am. However, you two still need to choose a best man."
"We told you. We aren't."
"But that's tradition. You can't break it."
"Shut up." Niall laughed then Zayn walked in. Niall immediately put his food down and hurried to him, "Guess what!" Niall grinned. He was bouncing up and down on his toes.
"What?! You're so giddy!" Zayn laughed and cupped Niall's face.
"I'm fine! I'm excited! And hyper!"
"I can see that! Why are you so excited?"
"Well, I booked a honeymoon."
"Oooo where to?"
"The Caribbean!"
"You didn't! OMG I LOVE YOU!" Zayn actually giggled and kissed Niall's mouth--passionately. "Mmmm I love you so much, babe. You are the greatest. I knew you would come around.
Pop kissing him over and over, Niall grinned, and shook his head, "I never wanted to leave."
"I didn't want you to."
"Then why did you let me?" he teased.
"Ha, so now you're a tease aye?"
"Can you two ladies stop? We gotta rehearse!"
A/N Sorry this is short! I wanted to update! It's like 4 am here and I'm extremely sleepy :/ I hope this chapter was good though! I will try to work on a longer one soon! xoxo
