What about...Kaneki!

Beep,beep,beep

Hide's eyes shot open as the constant noise of his alarm surrounded him. He slammed around his bedside table trying to find his phone, the source of the noise. To bad he doesn't have a alarm because he was really considering throwing it across the room but he would never do that to his beloved phone.

He growled befor sitting up and finally hitting the off button. He tried his best to rub the sleep away from his eyes, but let me tell you now that didn't work... He jumped of his bed and stood in front if his mirror and stared at his reflection.

Is that really me? He thought

Damn I'm a mess...heh...a hot mess! He smirked at his thought befor making his way to the bathroom. His house was quiet as his parents had both moved away as their jobs are too far from where they live, Hide decided to stay as he was quite comfortable with where he was.

He turned the handle of the bathroom door and stepped in, he didn't bother locking the door as no one else even lives in his house. He stripped off his clothes and jumped in the shower, he brought his tooth brush along with him so he doesn't waste time doing the two activities separately.

Once he was done, he got changed into his yellow hoddie and green bottoms. He grabbed his red headphones and plopped them around his neck befor making his way down the stairs. He didn't bother having breakfast as he wasn't that hungry, so he just grabbed a granola bar just in case he gets a bit peckish later on. He decided to get to school early today so he doesn't have to rush to class, although even when he does get to school early...he never makes it to class in time.

He grabbed his phone and shoved it in his free pocket, slug his bag on his shoulder, grabbed his kyes and made his way out the door. Just as he was about to leave his front garden, he noticed a box next to the gate and out of curiosity he opened it up. His eyes widened at the sight. There was a pure white kitten in the box but there was something about this kitten that made Hide even more interested in it. He looked at the time on his phone and a smile made its way on his face.

"Heh, looks like I still got half and hour, guess it wouldn't kill me to take you in!" He talked to the kitten like it could understand everything he said but the kitten just mewed in response.

"Looks like you agree with me then!" He said happily as he stroked the kittens head. He picked up the box and made his way back inside and closed the door with his foot behind him.

"Let's see...what should I call you?" He put his finger on his chin like he was thinking.

"What about Kaneki, Kaneki Ken? Yeah! That'll do!" He said with a giant goofy grin on his face.

"Right Kaneki, I gotta get to school in a bit so will do you some food then I gotta get going!"

Kaneki stared at him.

"Looks like you get it...I hope..."

He made his way into the kitchen and peered through all his cupboards untill he found a random tin of tuna laying around. He grabbed a bowl and scrapped the tuna into it. He wrinkled his nose at the smell, he was never really fond of fish.

He walked back into his living room and placed the bowl down, he carefully lifted Kaneki out of the box and placed him down on his living room carpet. Kaneki stumbled over to the bowl in front of him, he nearly tripped over his own paws a couple of times and Hide snickered at this, but if he was honest this kitten was the most adorable thing he'd ever seen.

"Right Kaneki, don't distroy anything...not like you can anyways...and I'll be back in a few hours!" He smiled at the kitten who's face was now full of tuna, he chuckled and wiped Kanekis's tint mouth.

"Bye Kaneki!" He waves at the little kitten who was still gobbling down his tuna. He shut the door and made sure to lock it as he didn't want anyone stealing his beloved Kaneki. But what never crossed his mind befor now was who and why brought him to his house...

Hide ran back home as he was anxious to see his little kaneki. He was planning on getting him a collar, some cat toys and a comfortable bed for him...or mabey he'll just get the kitten to sleep on the bed with him.

He unlocked his door and stepped in, but when he saw the sight if his house his eyes widened... HOW COULD A TINY THING LIKE HIM DO THAT!!...He rushed around the house to try and find the little kitten until he heard something fall over in the kitchen.

"AHH! KANEKI!! STAY THERE DONT MOVE WHERE EVER YOU AREE!!" He said rushing into the kitchen  scanning everywhere for Kaneki.

"Mew"

Hide gasped as he heard the noise of his kitten. He scanned the room once again untill he saw the kitten on top of his cupboard.

"HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU GET UP THERE?" Hide shouted in confusion. He looked a round the room for some thing to stand on to get the cat, he grabbed a chair and stuck it next to the counter. He stood on it as it wobbled slightly and reached for Kaneki. He slowly picked him up and jumped of the chair.

"You Mr, will be needing a cage" he said pointing at the kitten, but he couldn't help burst into laughter at how this tiny ball of fur was able to make such a mess.

"Right c'mon, let's get this place cleaned up then we'll go to the let store!"

He placed Kaneki down and finally started to clean up the mess that the tiny fur ball had made.
