Neko Ghoul? ( A Hidekane FanFic )

...N-Neko G-Ghoul...

Just to let u know, in this world ghouls where extremely rare and Touka is in fact not, NOT I SAY, a ghoul. If  have anything against that then u suggest u don't say anything about it and stop reading this FanFic.

Hide was walking back from the pet shop with kaneki on his arm and a shopping bag in his left hand.

"Right then Kaneki, we'll stick this collar on you once we're back home and play with some of your toys!" He said happily.

Kaneki meowed in response.

"You really do agree with me don't you?" Hide chuckled.

Once the two were back in the house, Hide dumbed everything out of the bag and onto the carpet. Kaneki roamed around the toys and cage parts and once he saw one he liked, he pounced on top of it and sunk his teeth into it. Hide chuckled and pulled Kaneki away from it.

"You can't go destroying it just yet, we've gotta try on your collar!"

He lifted up a blood red collar and slipped it over kaneki's head. It was slightly big but that made it even cuter. He smiled and scratched behind Kaneki's ear.

"Right now I gotta set up your cave, so entertain your self whilst waiting"

He picked up the cage parts and dumbed them on the sofa so Kaneki doesn't try and get them, he plopped on the sofa next to the cage parts and pulled out an instruction manual and started to assemble the cage.

Once he was done he looked rather proud of his work and looked back at Kaneki.

"Looks like I won't need to get another too soon, your pretty small compared to this thing!" Hide laughed.

He shoved a cat bed into the cave and plopped some of Kaneki's toys in it. He grabbed something special he had bought, he snickered at the silver laser. He caught Kaneki's attention by shinning the laser onto the wall. Kaneki pounced next to the wall trying to reach the laser as he scratched the wall, lucky he hadn't had pointy claws or hide would of regreted his choice. He shone the laser at the floor and kaneki chased after it.

After a good hour of playing with Kaneki's new toys, Hide decided to make food for the two. He made his way into the kitchen and pulled out the cat food he had put away earlier and a pot noodle for himself. He warmed up the noodles and then made Kaneki's food so they could eat together.

Once the two had finished Hide ran up the stairs and came back down with a blanket and a pillow so he could keep an eye on the kitten and so he was obviously in the same room as Kaneki on his first night at his new home.

It had been about a week since Hide had took in Kaneki and everything was going just fine, they would play together every night when Hide hot home, have lunch together and obviously Hide had his alone time but never wanted it much, so he spent most of his time with the kitten.

Hide was making his way home from school, and was obviously excited to see his Kaneki. When he got to his front door step, something felt off, but he just shrugged it off. He unlocked his front door and stepped in the house, he locked it behind him and called out for the kitten.
