after the incident with the sugar aphmau had decided that one cookie a day would be the maximum for zane, and even thought he was not impressed with this in the slightest he didn't object.

aphmau and arron were sat on her bed browsing through youtube on her phone when a loud thud was made from the vanity. looking up they saw zane stood there covered in water with the mug laying on the carpet, soaking it.

"for fucks sake zane I just cleaned the carpet"

she sighed, already wiping up the water on her vanity.

"I'm going to have to find new clothes for you now, wait here"

she sighed. turning from her room to the attic she began climbing the spiral staircase. entering the attic she looked around for zanes box, spotting it in the corner she walked up to it opening the lid and taking a white shirt and black jeans from inside. just as she was about to close the box she saw a neatly folded piece of paper tucked into the corner. pulling it out she unfolded it and read what it said.

A secret youve found thats been hidden in time,

Clues will be given in ways of old rhyme

The ticking of days is where the first clue lays

Listen as the angel plays.

she sat in confusion, just staring at the words. deciding on asking zane if he knew what the note meant she walked back to her bedroom, clothes and note in hand.

"zane whats with the note I found in your box?"

she asked setting the clothes next o him.

taking the note from her hand he read it carefully, and soon a sad smile was sat on his face.

"my mother wrote it... when I was alive"

he said handing it back to her.

"wait what do you mean by 'when you were alive'?"

aphmau asked confused.

zane sighed

"soul dolls were designed after real people aph. they were given the memories and souls of their respective person when they were made, in memory of the people they were designed after. my original was a boy named zane ro'meave. he was only sixteen when he died... I was only sixteen... so was my younger brother vylad, my older brother was eighteen... our mother knew that our deaths weren't an accident like our parents had been told, there was dark witch craft at work and they needed the hearts of three magical beings. a pure witch, a forest nymph and a elf. my brothers an I happened to be those things, so were targeted. after our deaths our mother hid our bodies within enchanted pictures which she hid around the house so the dark witches would never find us, that note there is a clue on how to find those pictures and bring us back to life."

he explained getting dressed, ignoring the shocked looks on both aphmau and Aaron's faces. aaron turned to travis who was still sat on the vanity as if the story zane told didn't come out of his mouth.

"travis, did you know about this?"

he asked slowly. travis nodded.

" yup, I mean I was hidden away with him when they tried their back up plan of a demon warlock, shadow knight and water nymph"

"... do you guys want to be found?"

aphmau asked quietly gaining a strained smile from both soul dolls.

"of course we do, we don't want to keep being separated like this. we wanna be happy again, like we were when we were alive"

zane whispered quietly, silent tears rolling down his glass cheeks as travis held him close, his own tears threatening o spill.

aphmau and aaron looked at each other and had a wordless agreement.

they were going to find their bodies, and help them be happy again.
