Chapter 34

I can't believe I'm doing this. I really don't want to leave them, but I have to. I'll be back tho, I don't know when but I'll come back as soon as I have my life figured out and shit calms down.

The truth is i didn't even leave the school yet. There's a long ass line of people leaving the campus. So we're just sitting waiting for the line to move forward. "I can connect to the radio?" Dante asked looking at me.

I shook my head yes not wanting him to hear the sadness in my voice. Dante started playing his playlist and I pulled out my phone. I got a text from Enzo say "text me when you get home" I also from Jake saying "let us know when you get home. If anything happens just call"

I texted both of them back okay and put my phone down seeing the cars start to move faster. As I pulled out of the parking lot I looked back I looked over at Dante to see him leaning on the door looking ahead, sad.

Now I've been on the road for about 5 hours and I'm starving. "Dante, Dante get up" I said as I pulled up to the window for Wendy's.

"Ummm" Dante mumbled sitting up.

"What you want to eat"

"Get me 2 burgers, a medium fri, a 8 piece nugget and pink lemonade" he jumped up looking at he window.

Well damn there goes my bank. After ordering all our food I drove off while eating.

"Aye Rose does that car look like it's been following us." Dante asked looking in the mirror.

"Yeah I noticed that, don't move to much but reach in the back and get that bag off the floor and then grab Skylar and Cole ." I said sitting up.

"Okay" Dante said reaching back and grabbing the bag then Sky.

"Okay now what." He asked

"Get those vest out of the bag and put one on and then get on the floor and put the others over you and the kids  and then hand  me the bag." I said as I turned.

Dante gave me the bag and got on the floor with Sky and Cole  and did as I said. I grabbed the guns out of the bag with one hand and laid them down on the chair as I pulled out the clips. "Dante here" I said passing him a gun.

"This is just in case don't just go round playing Rambo, and stay calm I doubt you'll need to use it." I said grabbing a gun off the chair.

I looked in the mirror to see the car still behind us and they were talking or something I can't really see there face because it's dark but as cars passed I could.

I turned down a road that was less busy and so did they. I drove down the road a little bit and drove down a hiking path while was small but I could fit and turned the car off. I grabbed my vest and a few knifes along with two guns. I got out of the car and went to the back of it knowing the car stoped up the road because I lost them. I ran threw the woods until I reached where they were.

They are a different type of dumb they got they lil lights on and everything. There's four of them this should be easy. I pointed my guns at the two men on the right side of the car and shot them in the head. There blood splattering on the 2 men to there sides. They pulled out there guns and both of them reached for the door but before they could get out I shot them both, there blood splattering in the window.

I waited for a minute to see if anyone else would come or something would happen, then went down to the car. I looked through the car for any type of information like who sent them or there ids but there was nothing. I took a picture of the license plate and I headed back to the car.
