Positive. The test results were positive. That means that this person I just met is Zoie's mom. How could this be? Zoie hugged her mom with tears in her eyes. Then all the guys and Emma walked over. "What's up?" Jc asked. Connor took the guys into another room to explain it to them. A few minutes later they all walked back in. Emma was crying and Jc was holding her hand trying to calm her down. "It's gonna be okay Emma." I heard him whisper. She wiped her eyes and put a broken smile on her face. "I love you Zoie." Her mom said. "I love you too mommy." She said. Alissa ran over and hugged Connor. He hugged her back and kissed the top of her head. "Congratulations Zoie." I said. She smiled. "Thank you Kian." She said. "So what do we do now?" I asked. Zoie looked at her mom. "Well I guess it's up to you Zoie. You can stay with Mr. Lawley or you can come home to me. I'll take you back." She said. I took a deep breath to hold in the tears. I loved Zoie more than anything. She was my world. I understand if she chooses her mom but I can't imagine a life without her. Yeah she can be annoying at times. And she talks back to me a lot. And maybe she doesn't always listen. I sighed. But I love her. "I.....I don't know." Zoie said. Emma burst into tears. We all knew who Zoie would choose. "Zoie it's okay. Take your time. And don't feel pressured to stay with me." I said. "I love you Kian but this is my mom and...I...I don't know." She said. She was choosing her mom. I knew it. Emma ran down the hall and Jc ran after her. Alissa cried into Connors shirt and he held her close. "I can't stay Kian. I'm....I'm sorry." She said. I nodded. She came over and hugged me. I hugged her back. I didn't want to let go. I didn't want to ever let her go. But I had to. "I love you Zoie." I whispered. "I love you too Kian." She said. I kissed the top of her head and she walked back over to her mom. Is this goodbye?
