My phone buzzed which woke me up, I was really tired after the concert last night.
I saw it was a message from Jack,
"Hang out?"
I smiled hard and got up instantly, putting on some simple clothes and applied a little bit of makeup.
I texted him a cafe address for where he could meet me, I went downstairs and noticed mum was making pancakes the smell drifted throughout the house. "want some?" She said, I was dying for some "sorry I can't" I slipped on my boots and walked to the front door.
I opened the door and was surprised.. Jack was there. "J..ack what are you doing here?"
He chuckled "to hang out, your mum and I planned this she also told me her homemade pancakes were amazing."
I couldn't believe it, I went to hug him he held me tight then we went inside mum had already placed everything on the table. We all sat down and chatted for a bit, "mm I would travel to Australia for these pancakes any day." Jack looked at mum she looked so happy, "such a lovely boy" she said I smiled and looked down thinking to myself not much of this made sense but everything happens for a reason.
When we finished up we continued the day, I decided to drive him around.
I showed him where Ashleigh lived and told him stories about my childhood. I took him to Bondi beach, a famous beach in Australia.
"So like do you know how to surf?" He said, "I'm really bad at it my uncles professional surfer though."
He laughed, "hmh" he smirked.
We got out and i then realised my stupid mistake, "shit I forgot swimmers"
He did too, "we could always you know" he winked I hit him lightly "oh look there's a shop."
I could tell his plan was destroyed.. we walked into the shop and I honestly couldn't care I grabbed a bright pink bikini and turned around to see if he got anything i died of laughter.
"What just trying to fit in" he held shorts that had the Australian flag print.
We went to pay and then got changed I still couldn't take him seriously..
Before we left the car I got a call.
It was Ashleigh she said how the guys were asking to hang out I told them to all come to the beach, she said they'd arrive in half n hour.
Jack and I walked down the steps and through the sand, it felt great having my toes touch the sand I'm my happiest at the beach. I stood in the shallow area with my ankles cold, he told me to come out a little so I did I turned around and was looking at all the people it made me smile you can always feel whole at the beach.
At that moment I felt his hands wrap around my waist the next thing I knew I was under water. When I came up I could hear him laughing, "hey" I splashed him as did he. Time went by fast, him and I were out a bit far to just above our chests. He pulled me close and kissed me, our lips were hand in hand his lips were soft and filled with passion.
I sorta pushed him away after a few seconds. "What's wrong"
He said, "look I wish I could be an easy girl but if I get feelings I get them and if we keep doing stuff like this I just want you to be mine. I know we barely know each other."
He stopped me, "barely? Ive met your mother and best friend I've heard many stories that I'll cherish and soon you'll meet my family I know we would rush into this I know I have a fanbase but they can't control my emotions I want you Amelia."
My heart was pumping i couldn't believe what he said, we were hopeless teens. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, I went in and kissed him. "Yes" I whispered, just like that the rest arrived "hey losers" Ashleigh ran in and fell making us all laugh Jonah followed behind her and picked her up. Corbyn and Daniel were play fighting and Zach came over to me whilst Jack swam, "hey stranger" I said making him giggle. "Australia is beautiful" he looked out to the ocean, "indeed" I winked.
"So happy we met you."
