The Back-up Dancer's Love

Chapter 15

 I rubbed my eyes as I tried to dodge McKenna and Bradley sleeping on the floor and go to the baby-room. I couldn't sleep at all. After I had actually gone to my room to sleep, the longest sleeping period I had was only for about 30 minutes. SOmehow, Bradley didn't wake up while they were crying, not even Ruby and she was loud. Right now, it sounded like Aiden was crying, which was surprising because this was the 2nd time I had ever heard him cry. He was the quitest out of all of them. I sneeked into the room, being careful not to wake up the other babies, but all of them were wide awake, playing with their toys, tuning out they're brother wails.

  "What is wrong with my little baby?" I asked in a cute voice. Then it hit me, gosh that smell was just like a rotten egg, or when you step into a....horse barn. It also turned out thathis siblings were tuning out his smell to bcause they were all smiling. Or maybe they liked the smell. Stay on focus Kathy! I turned my head to Aiden and started changing his diaper while I kept on saying ;Whose my stinky baby" in a sing-song voice.

 When I was done, I did a double-take at the tune I was humming and I almost slapped myself. It was one of Aiden's song that he made up when I started feeling sick. The thought of him made me want to punch him but also go up to him and kiss him. I shook my head when I left the room, saying bye to all of my kids and when I got to my room, ew was my first thought.

   "Ummm eww" I said to Bradley and McKenna having an epic makeout session on my bed. I remeber when me and Aiden used to have those, stop thinking about him Kathy. Thats the second time.

  "What?" Bradley asked groggily.

  "Don't makeout on my bed please", I said, glaring at both of them.

  "Well next time knock".

  "It's my bedroom, I don't have to knock, now you 2 lovebirds get out and go kiss somewhere else!" I exclamed while I saw McKenna and Bradley's face blush at the word love. The said the 'L' word! I'm totally going to bother her about it later,

  "You can watch if you want, tha's fine by me", Bradley said while smirking and McKenna hit his shoulder trying to hold in her laughter. Now it was my turn to blush.

  "Oh shut up Baldey!" I joked, knowing that calling him Baldey got on his last nerve and scard him a little because his dad started balding around 25. 

  "Whoa, look at that spot right there! I can see my reflection", McKenna jpoined in while pretending to check her a makeup on Bradley's forehead. 

  "All right, all right, you win this time Kathy, I'll leave", Bradley said while checking and rubbing his hair in the mirror. I chuckled slightly at the sight and collapsed on the bed sleeping heavily.

  "Good job Jeff and Jordyn! Oops, number 2 is wrong Jordyn, think of the ryhme I told you", I told Jordyn while giving them a high-five. I was watching Jordyn until I felt a male presence behind me and wind near my ear.

  "Hello honey, guess what I got for you today?" Aiden whispered in my ear while all the kids jumped from thier chairs and hugged their dad. I turned around and kissed him. 

 "I don't know....maybe a dress? A ring? No I'm kidding, but you didn't ha-" I attemted to say until Aiden crashed his lips into mine when Ruby shouted that I had cooties and they all ran away to the playroom. Oh 3 year olds.

 "You don't get to talk honey, just listen for me ok?" He asked with that look I couldn't resist. I nodded while getting lost in his big brown eyes. My eyes turned downwards when I saw a ring in a box and he was down on one knee. 

Oh poop.

 "Kathy Renee Davis, will you do the honor of mar- BEEP! BEEP! BEEP"

 I jolted up from the bed turning of the dumb alarm clock. Stupid thing, it was getting to the good part. I turned my head to the alarm clock, trying not to think about my previous dream, but failed miserably. Would Aiden even ever marry me? Was that a to big enough commitment for the butt? I looked down at the clock and it said 12:30 p.m. I had been sleeping for 2 hours. And I was almost late for my "Having Multiples Session'', or my HMS at 12:45.

    I rushed to put on some skinny jeans and a baggy t-shirt which I instantly recognised the smell. It was Aiden's shirt that I wore the morning after we had the deed. I hesitated if I should removemit or not but I thought about my very perfectionist counselor, Mrs. Rocha, who would have a cow. I went to the baby room and noticed that there wasn't any crying or giggling and my babies were not there. I panicked for a few minutes when I forgot that my mom took them out for a few hours for a playdate session. 

 I walked to the kitchen and saw a note taped to the island.

 -Mom!

  ' Don't panic or do anything dumb like call the police if you don't find your lovelies. I took them for a playdate if you didn't remember! Also, don't forget to got to HMS this afternoon, so look at the clock right now and see what time it is, because if you are late, Mrs. Rocha will have a tantrum.' 

 I took a peek at the clock and saw that it was 12:39 si I had to hurry up. At that moment, my stomach growled and I read the rest of the note while taking a mini box of cereal and driving to the clinic.

I need to say something really important. Since I am starting school on August 20th, 9 days from now, I won't have a lot of time to update for about the nest few weeks, since I might be shopping for the rest of the week I guess. I am still torn between if the next chapter should be a time thingy, or still in this time. Well, thanks for reading this!!!!  Good night people! This note is short because I finished it at 2:52 a.m. so I am really sleepy. And there are only 4 exclamation marks.
