CHAPTER 25
*Amy*
We went to the local fair!
Seriously I don’t think Eric could have picked a more perfect place than the fair. I've loved fairs for as long as I can remember! I used to go there every time there was one when I was a child. It was amazing!
For some reason fairs always cheer me up. And actually that’s what I needed right now. Someone to cheer me up! And I have to admit that Eric was doing a pretty good job.
I’m not going to lie by saying that I wasn’t thinking about Blake too. And the whole kissing thing because I did. A lot! But because Eric had nothing to do with this and he seemed excited about our date I didn’t want to ruin it for him.
When it was finally night me and Eric had gone on every roller coaster and every stupid booth the carnival had. I have to admit that this made me get Blake out of my mind for a while.
“So where do you wanna go next?” Eric asked as we were walking through all the booths”
“I don’t kn- Oh my gosh look. It’s a mini Mike Wazowski!” I exclaimed and pointed to a booth with stuffed animals.
I loved Mike Wazowski! He was my favorite character in monsters Inc.! After Boo of course! Oh Boo! Do they have Boo too? Oh God I’m so excited and I don’t know why!
“Come on.” Eric said leading me to the booth.
“What?” I asked confused as Eric gave to the man behind the booth five bucks.
He turned to look at me and smile sweetly. A sense of guilt immediately took over me as I realized how unfair what I had done to Eric was. He was so sweet and kind and I had messed things up. Why was I confused in the first place? For Blake? He was a jerk to me and I couldn’t understand why I was still in love with him. But with Eric, things were completely different. I really liked him! I had to like him!
“You said you wanted that freaking green thing right? Well I’ll win it for you.” He shrugged catching the small ball the man behind the booth threw to him.
Gosh he was so sweet!
And I’m such an idiot!
I watched as Eric lowered his body and aimed the ball at the five bottles that were stacked in a pyramid. The game was called ‘Bottle Throw’ and I guessed he had to knock out all the bottles with one throw.
I watched in amusement as he threw the small ball at the base of the pyramid and all the bottles knocked over.
He smirked as he saw me watching him with an open mouth. I never in my life had I won on this game! Laugh all you want but it was really difficult to knock over all the bottles.
“Congratulations. Which stuffed animal do you want?” the man behind the booth asked. He actually seemed amused by my reaction.
“That…green freaky thing over there.” Eric said pointing to Mike Wazowski.
“Here you go.”
“Thank you.” Eric said politely and walked towards me. “Here you go.” He said handing me the stuffed animal.
Without thinking I hugged him. It actually felt weird hugging him since I felt really guilty about kissing Blake but I don’t know… I really wanted to.
“Thank you!” I said pulling away after a couple of seconds. “How the hell did you do that?” I asked as we started walking.
He shrugged “It’s not such a big deal Amy. You just have to aim at the base of the pyramid since the bottles on the middle are heavier.”
