I was walking through the corridor with my friends when I spotted her face. She looked tired and had bags under her eyes which showed lack of sleep. She saw me and gave a warm smile. I smiled back and just then felt someone poke me. It was Louis. He was smiling like a mad man. I looked at all of their faces and they all had the same smile as him.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." Liam smirked.

"Keep smiling like fools. I already told her about my feelings." I stated.

"What?" They all said in unison.

"So you guys are like..." Niall tried to form a sentence.

"Together now?" Louis finished his sentence.

"No." I said dropping my head.

They all burst out laughing and started hitting me on my shoulder.

"Aww, it's okay, Harry." Zayn told me.

"It happens." Niall said.

"What did she say though?" Liam asked curiously.

"She said that she'll think about it." I told them and they all nodded their heads.

"Well, we'll see. Let's hope she says yes." Louis said hopefully.

"She has to say yes. She will say yes, like come on bros, it's Harry Styles. The Harry Styles all girls want to date. How can she say no?" Niall said proudly.

"Not every girl wants to date me. Besides, she's different. She's very innocent and shy." I told them and they all agreed.

The bell for my favourite class rang and I rushed to my next class- Biology. I entered the class and saw her sitting, with her head resting on the desk in front. Walking over to her, I took my seat and tapped her on the shoulder. She raised her head just a little bit to see who it was and then sat up in a straight posture.

"Looks like someone didn't sleep well last night." I smiled.

"No, It's not that. I slept well." She lied.

I knew she was lying.

"The bags underneath your eyes are screaming a different story." I told her.

"Oh God! Do they look that bad? I should have used concealer to cover them up." She said placing her soft, small hands on her eyes.

"No, they don't look that bad." I tried to make her feel good.

"They still look bad." She argued.

"Did you have the same dream last night?" I asked trying to change the topic.

"No. I had a different one." She said.

"What was it about?" I asked curiously.

" I don't remember every dream I have." She said.

By the end of the class, we were assigned with a presentation to work on and we decided to do this at my place. I also wanted her to meet my mom, so I thought it would be a nice idea. We went straight to my house after school and there we were greeted by my lovely mother. My mom and Elise got along really well. She knew I liked Elise but she was not going to mention it in front of her and embarrass me. She seemed to like Elise. We went upstairs to my room. She looked around the place as if mesmerised by it. I had a really neat and well organised room so it must be shocking for her that a boy has a neat room.

"Your place is nice." She complimented.

"Thank you." I said.

"It's so clean and well organised. My room is always a mess. You will find books in every corner of my room." She said.

"It must be surprising for you to see a boy's room so neat and organised. Usually, boys' rooms are a mess." I told her.

"I don't know how a boy's room looks like because I  have never been in one before." She blushed deeply and I blushed too.

"Oh." I said.

"Do you have any siblings?" She asked me.

"Yes, I have an elder sister, Gemma. She's staying in the university's hostel. " I told her.

"Do you have any siblings?" I asked the same question.

"No. I'm the only child my parents have." She replied.

We sat down on soft cushions and started preparing our presentation. We were not even halfway through when I realised how tired she looked. She kept yawning and rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleep. She needed a power nap.

"You look tired." I said softly.

"Actually, yeah. I am." She accepted.

"You can sleep here, you know. I mean, you can sleep on my bed. I will do the work in the meantime." I told her.

"No, I'm not that tired." She refused.

"You really look like you need a nap. It's currently 2:30 PM. You can sleep here and then I'll wake you up at 3:30 PM. I'll finish this work I promise." I insisted her to sleep on my bed.

I really wanted to make her feel comfortable and safe here.

"Okay." She did not argue further and got up.

Laying down on my bed, she pulled the comforter over her while hugging my pillow tightly and immediately fell asleep. When I was halfway through the presentation, I felt her turn over to the other side. I got up with my laptop, walked over to my bed and carefully sat on the other side. I wanted to be near her so I could make sure she was okay. She looked cute sleeping with my pillow and I resisted the urge to cuddle with her.

After thirty minutes, I was done with the whole presentation. I cracked my knuckles and sighed heavily. She was still sleeping peacefully, her face buried in my pillow with one hand resting over it. I lightly brushed her cheek with the back of my fingers to which she made a little movement and then her lips curved up in a smile which faded away after a few seconds. I slid my pinky finger through her pinky finger and held it lightly. Her hands were as soft as a baby's. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at me with a smile on her face.

"Hey." I whispered softly. " Look, I'm done with the presentation." I told her.

She slowly got up to see the work and a wide smile spread across her face.

"Thanks." She said.

"There's no need to say thanks. After all, I also have some part in this presentation." I said.

"No, I said thank you for letting me sleep here." She said softly.

"Oh, your welcome." I blushed deeply.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Best power nap ever." She replied stretching her hands forward.

"You can get fresh. The en suite is right there." I pointed towards the attached bathroom.

She nodded and left for the en suite. After a few minutes she came out all freshened up. We winded up everything and then I walked her to the coffee shop.

The next day, she was again sleepy in class. She lied about getting enough sleep at night. Her eyes told the truth. I told her she could rest her head on the desk and sleep while I would note down the lecture for her. She agreed and slept through the whole class. Something was up with her. She was not telling me what it was. But I would soon find out.
