places to go with littles

on this page you will find a list of places to go with your little and reasons for them:

zoo - the zoo is a great place for littles to visit because they can slip into littlespace in a public space without it being too obvious if that is something your little worries about, they can look for different animals and point them out to you and finding specific animals in the zoo could be a challenge for the little talking about the animals and the noises they make

park - the park is the perfect place for a little, there are slides and swings and lots of fun things to do at the park which can make someone slip right into little space, maybe if they're good they could get an ice cream before leaving

museum - the museum may sound boring but it's an adventure for a little, you could try and spot things in paintings and often there are many interactive fun things to get involved with at the museum like wallpaper making or scavenger hunts

theme park - at a theme park there is usually a section for smaller children to go in which can be walked around or you could maybe go on the rides, you may need a small child with you to get on but any excuse works, there is candy floss and sometimes characters dressed up to meet and greet people, lots of fun and a special day out with your loved one, it's also fun even if your little does like big rides as a thrill

bowling - bowling is a fun day out for anyone but meals can be ordered off the kids menu whilst there and the ramp can be used which is to help push the ball down since it's too heavy for small children, to help make them feel little

picnic - any picnic is fun no matter how big or little you are, go to a nice place or a park of some sort, maybe just a big field and lay a blanket down on the grass or find a bench and pack lots of snacks, specifically little snacks which can be found on another chapter of this book, to help them get into little space

shopping - much like the museum, shopping sounds boring, especially to a little unless there's something in it for them, maybe buy them something new or go toy spotting and see if there's anything they could add to a birthday or christmas list, it's always fun to look at new toys and books

walks - sometimes it's nice to get out and get some fresh air or sunshine and go for a walk, you could play ispy or pick some flowers on the way

cinema - the cinema is so much fun, you can cuddle up and watch a new movie and since it's in the dark they won't be seen if they suck their thumb or use a dummy, you could even sneak a teddy in if you really wanted so they could watch too! popcorn and cinema food could be a special little treat!

sandpit - the sandpit is a place in which a little is able to be imaginative and make sandcastles, the texture of the sand may comfort them

water park / swimming - a waterpark is so much fun for anyone never mind a little, there's slides just like in the park and lots of interactive water play to have, maybe being in the water calms down your little, they could pretend to be a mermaid!

trampoline park - trampolines are fun and it's a place where a little can be themselves openly without being judged, surrounded by both other kids and adults all bouncing around having fun seems like the perfect atmosphere

build a bear workshop - a place where they can pick a special teddy which could even be customised with a special sound box of their caregivers voice (if they have one), the outfit choices are endless and the whole process is just magical

holiday parks - as anyone would say, some time away from the business of life is needed sometimes and where better than a holiday park, a little can get involved with the park fun and meet different holiday characters, getting involved in team building activities and workshops too

peppa pig world - if your little loves peppa pig just as much as my baby does then they will DREAM of peppa pig world, a theme park full of peppa pig themed rides and activities to merchandise stores and sights to see

disneyland - who wouldn't want to go to disneyland? they would be able to see all of their favourite disney characters whilst being enthralled in the magic of the place itself, whether it be florida or paris or anywhere else, disney is disney and all ages are accepted

arcade - the arcade is a place where littles can play on games and grabbers and win prizes for their achievements much like rewards at home, look at the page on reward systems for more information on that

ice cream parlour - everybody loves ice cream!! especially when it's a reward.
