*Two days later*
Calum woke with a start. Lacey had been hovering over him with a hand on his shoulder, shaking him slightly.
"Cal, baby. You awake?" She asked, her eyes filled with concern.
He nodded and sat up some, putting his weight on his elbows. Calum squinted his eyes at the light emitted from the lamp on the night table and looked at her.
"Maya and Alex broke up....she sounded really devastated on the phone. I think I need to go see her." Lacey was already up and moving - gathering her clothes she barely took out of her bag.
Calum nodded, his brain slowly but surely catching up with everything. The only thing his mind could focus on was the blonde in the next room over.
"Okay, that's fine whatever you need. Are you okay for driving home?" Calum asked, care laced in his voice as he got out of bed.
His head immediately started pounding and he had to sit back down. Lacey was still buzzing around the room - grabbing anything that was hers.
"Yeah, yeah. I just need to get there as fast as I can and make sure she's okay. I'm sorry I have to leave a little early, baby." She slung her backpack onto her shoulder, and her suitcase of a purse on the other as she gave Calum a kiss on the cheek and walked out the door.
The brunette sat on the bed with his face in his hands. His brain was still taking in all this information.
Lacey: leaving, Luke: mad at me
He needed to make things right but he didn't know how.

Luke is...incredible. Kind eyes, soft skin, soft lips. Luke is kindness. Luke is angelic. Luke is ethereal.
Luke is not mine.
"Luke is not mine," Calum uttered aloud. He rubbed his eyes as he felt the warmth of tears, "Fuck!" He kicked the side of the bed as the tears begin to fall.
He looked at the raindrops falling from the sky outside before he heard footsteps from the hallway. Only seconds later, Ashton barged into his bedroom.
Ashton was wide-eyed, frantic. His hand was off the doorknob in seconds as he rushed to Calum's side. Before Ashton could even ask him what was wrong, Calum was wrapping him in his arms and sobbing.
"I fucked up, Ash. I fucked up so bad." Calum leaned all his weight onto Ashton's body and completely fell limp.
The sandy blonde haired boy rubbed Calum's head, whispering reassuring things into his ear. He wasn't 100% sure what was going on, but he knew whatever it was, Calum and Luke would get it figured out.
The boy looked half asleep and Ashton really felt for him. He wished he could make this easier on both boys but the two of them were making it so much more complicated than it had to be.
"I kissed him, Ash." Calum pulled away, squeezing his eyes shut.
Ashton's eyebrows shot up to his hairline.
Calum kissed Luke?
"When?!" Ashton exclaimed. Calum quickly placed a hand over Ashton's mouth and shushed him, not wanting any of the boys in the other room to hear them.
The brunette boy sighed deeply and took Ashton's hands in his own. Calum led him to the bed and sat with him and began to explain everything that happened.
