Hmm, I wonder why he asked Louie and Webby, and not *me and Huey!Are they BOTH going to boarding school, Ohhh, I hope not?!
I decide to sneak up to the door, and listen in on the conversation. All I hear is muffled "really?" and "why?". I really want to go barge in, but I can't! If I do, I'll get grounded!
I give up after a minute or two. I drag myself back to Huey, who's sitting on the couch and reading the JWG. "So, what did you hear?" He asks.
" Ohh, you like gossip now," I tease him, then realize the situation is serious, " Nothing much, just 'why' and 'really'!" I say, feeling sad.
"Oh" is all Huey says. His face falls. " Hey, Huey, are you ok?" I ask, he just shrugs. " I don't know anymore..." He replies honestly.
I give him my best smile" Don't worry... DJ Daft Duck... will make you dance, to feel better!" I say, smirking.
" I don't think so Dewey, remember what happened last time?!" He says. " Well then, what now?" I ask feeling bored, and wanting in on Scrooge's, Louie's and Webbs conversation.
That's when...
" Dewey, Huey, come here please!" Scrooge calls. Yes! Oh, but what if it's a lecture?! Aw DUCK!
We race into the room...
Louie and Webby are both frowning. Something MUST be up if Webbs is feeling sad. I mean, frowning is normal for Lou.
" Dewford, Huebert, I'm sorry to say this but... your brother and Webbigail were invited to your Uncle Gladstone's but not you lads. " Scrooge tells us.
My jaw drops, but Huey's doesn't, "What, Louie IS Uncle Gladstone's favourite." He shrugs. (Why is he shrugging so much?!)
Well, I have to agree, so I just nod. Louie and Webby give us apologetic look. " We're sorry, it's just... he said it's urgent and only us... we wish you could come!" They say together, tearing up a little. Aww...
We all group hug, EVEN Scrooge! Awww... my baby brother is leaving, not for long at least! I smile, feeling a little better.
