i pulled it Apart and stretched it out

(you kept a Promise not to scream)

and nailed it to a canvas.

flesh sweet and Fragile as spun sugar.

a heavy Blotch on bleached silk;

a portrait of You.

it stutters,

bleeds

Ink and Honey,

weeping like a wound.

until it heals
