what i mean by dance company is like a dance group or team, not like actually a company like BigHit or something. just for clarification. ~ P

You're a dancer.

Well, lead dancer in a dance company.

Okay, leader of a dance company.

You were first interested in dancing since you were young. You'd dance to a bunch of k-idols and your mom decided to put you in an after school dance class.

Since then, you've been in that class and you've been getting better and better at dance.

The classes would last for twenty-four weeks, and each week, three classes were held - one on Monday, one on Wednesday, and one on Friday. A class before the last class, there's always a dance competition between the other dance company on the other side of town - the Golden Stallions.

They were big rivals with your team - the Shooting Stars.

The big main difference between your team and the Golden Stallions was that your team was an all female team, and the Golden Stallions were male.

You didn't have much of a problem with everyone on the Golden Stallions team.

Besides one person.

The leader of their team.

Your all-time rival,

Jung Hoseok.

You and Hoseok aren't only rivals in dance competitions, but also in school. In any class you both shared, you both were determined to crush each other.

Like math class.

"Alright, class. I'm passing back your assessments. Most of you did pretty well and those who didn't, I'll speak with individually," Mr Lang tells everyone, walking around with a big stack of papers to give back. "I'd like to congratulate the student who had the highest score with a 98, Miss (Y/N) and the student with the second highest score, Mister Hoseok, with a 94."

You look over at Hoseok, seeing his death glare being sent to you. You simply smirk in response, flipping your hair.

Or science.

"Good morning, class. Over the weekend, I went over your projects that were submitted on Friday. I was very impressed with what I was shown. I'd like to give a shout out to Jung Hoseok for getting the highest grade of 100% and (Y/N) for getting the second highest grade of 97%," Ms Lee smiled.

You snap your pencil in half, sending daggers to Hoseok as he mouthed 'better luck next time, boo' with a smug smirk on his face.

Or even PE.

"Alright, we're gonna have a race. Everyone go line up on the white line and when I blow the whistle, you're gonna sprint all the way down to the yellow line," Coach Han yells in his loud voice.

You and the rest of the class race down to white line, readying yourselves for the sprint.

"Ready...set..."

The whistle echoed through the gym building and everyone began their sprint.

You immediately take off, Hoseok right next to you.

"See you at the finish line!" He mocks, running farther.

"You wish!" You call back, increasing your pace and going past Hoseok.

Throughout the whole sprint, you and Hoseok kept passing each other. The yellow line was coming up close and you and Hoseok were side by side.

Simultaneously, you both increase your pace and cross the yellow line.
