~Pete's POV~
Oh man this wasn't good. Why did that song have to come on? It reminded me so much of her. I wanted her so bad but we had only just met, it would seem silly to have a relationship. But I felt like i had known her forever... And she probably didn't even like me, anyways, she probably thought i was creepy or weird. But then again she had said "i would love to stay here all night with you, but..." Maybe that meant something? All i knew was i had fallen for her... Too hard, too fast. There was just something about her. I took my headphones out and flipped my pillow over to the cool side. When I put them back in, a familiar song was playing...

It got me thinking about how great her voice was when she sang that line. Chrystal clear and perfect, but too quiet. Wait a second, why was she in the bushes in the first place? Id ask her another time. I wondered if she was thinking about me right now.... I glanced at the clock. 5:06 am. Wow pete, way to go to bed early. Bed... Sleep... Think about her tomorrow.... Was the last thing i remembered before dosing off.

I woke up with a bad headache and went straight to the bathroom. I took a pill out, accidentally knocking the bottle over. I stared at the pills. That brought back bad memories. I quickly cleaned up and walked out of the bathroom. I went back to sleep.

When I woke up for the second time, i felt much better. I checked my phone to see if it was late enough to go see Anna again. 11:30, 2 new messages. My phone read.

Christain: How did you meet Anna? Is she our age? Are u guys a thing ;)

Darren: hey pete we're having a party tonight.. you should bring Anna, she seems chill. plus she's hot. u should go for it.

I suddenly wanted to punch Darren in the face. Wait, he was my friend.. Why was i getting this jealous? I replied to each text..

To Christain: I met her in the bushes. Yes, she's our age. And no... We arent a thing.

To Darren: Yeah we'll be there. And yes she's chill. And gorgeous. And mine. I will go for it, once were both ready.

I hit send on both and change out of my pajamas, and into a white fall out boy shirt with the usual black skinny jeans and brushed my teeth and straightened out my hair. I wanted to go see Anna. I walked to her house and knocked on the front door. An older guy answered the door. He had long brown hair, and he looked pretty wild. Who was this guy? He better not- my thoughts were interrupted.

"Uh hi.. Can I help you?" he said, not in a mean way, just kinda annoyed.

"Yeah.. Im looking for Anna?" I said.

He looked at me for a while before calling Anna. She came down the stairs, grinning as she saw me. I smiled back.

"Hi...." She said to me.

"H-Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again?" I asked shakily

"Sure! Oh wait... Uhm Vic is it okay if i go out?" She asked the boy.

"Whatever just be back before your mom gets home." Vic told her, closing the door. We were alone, finally. She looked so perfect standing there, in her white greenday t-shirt and black skinny jeans. Wow, we were dressed similar... "Hi pete" she grinned at me.

"Hi Anna" i grinned back.

"What do you wanna do?" She asked.

"I was thinking we could maybe explore more, go back to the park, maybe go to a party.." I tried to say nonchalantly.

"Party? Who's party? Was I invited or did you just want to take me?" She asked.

"Darren's party, and yes you were invited.. and i also do want to take you, if thats okay?" I asked her.

"Uh i dont know pete... Im not good with people..." She replied.

"Anna yes you are, shutup!" I said laughing. "Come on, let's go to the park again. The party isnt for hours so youll have time to think about whether you want to go or not." I said.

She nodded and we started walking.

I really wanted to grab her hand again, but im pretty sure that was just a one time thing. That guy at the door was probably her boyfriend, anyway. Yeah, she was so pretty that she could have 2 guys fall for her in just 1 day. When we reached the tree, i helped her climb again, pulling her up every branch until we reached the top. I didnt hold onto her hands this time.. I didnt want to make her scared again.

"So uh who was that guy in your house?" I asked her, jealousy hinting in my voice.

She laughed. "Vic? He's my sisters boyfriend. And yes, i know what your thinking- shes already dating someone after one day. Well she is really pretty so... I mean guys like that kinda stuff. Her blonde hair is only down to her shoulders, which makes her look super cute. And her eyes, wow. They are an amazing shade of blue. She has freckles, and dimples too, completing the whole perfect package. She is a gymnast, so she also has a great body. And sometimes she's funny i guess..." Anna said, her voice trailing off. The jealousy in her voice was a lot more noticable than mine. I didnt see why she was jealous though, she was too perfect to want to be someone else.

"Wait she's dating someone after one day? Thats crazy! Do your parents know about that?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah, crazy. Just like her sneaking out to meet him at night." She replied. "And no, the don't know about him. They went into town for the day and she invited him over."

"Thats pretty wild." I said laughing.

"Yes very wild." She mocked me.

It was then kinda awkward.. Maybe she was thinking what I was thinking, maybe not. I wanted to sneak out with her...

"So uh have you made up your mind about the party?" I asked her.

"Sure I'll go! I just need to change but can u pick me up before it starts?" She replied.

"Yeah ill come get you at like 7 okay?" I asked.

"Sure sounds great!" She said.

We climbed down and walked back, arguing about which blink-182 song was best. She thought it was "Stay Together for the Kids" while I was fixed on "First Date."

"Agree to disagree. Alright seeya at 7 kid." I told her, punching her lightly on the arm.

"Kid?" She said laughing. "Bye pete."

~Anna's POV~

I nearly screamed. Why did I have NOTHING to wear? I fell back into a pile of clothes, thinking. Why had he called me kid? Did he think i was too young for him? I needed to look good tonight.
Wait a second.. what was I thinking? He probably had a girlfriend who was coming. He also probably only thought of me as a friend. But then again he did get kinda jealous about Vic.. And I did see him staring at me out of the corner of my eye in the tree.. Okay Anna just focus on getting ready, i told myself. I put on my red skater skirt and a black top. I also put on combat boots and curled my hair. I did my makeup, which was really only concealer, mascara, and lip gloss and was done. I glanced at the clock- only 5:30. Wait, only? Did this mean i was looking forward to going? Oh well. I needed to kill time.. I turned my phone on and put my music on shuffle but nothing good came on. I decided to go for somthing new, and I knew just the band to look up.
