Blood Tears

I had a perfect life. Two parents who loved me, a big brother who was always there to protect me. I had a bunch of friends and one best friend who knew me like no one else did. School was going well and I even had a good job at the local bank. Everything was going great, until I fell in love with the most dangerous vampire in the world and my whole life changed. My name is Tiara and this is my story.

CHAPTER 1

When you’re walking in Georgia, Atlanta and you see a skinny girl with dark brown hair and grey eyes and the typical cheerleader type it’s possibly me. The ‘’me’’ is Tiara Andersen and I’m sixteen years old. I live with my mother Sarah, father John and my brother Jake. My best friend is Allison Star, I’ve known her since childhood. I go to high school in fourth grade. My best friend after Allison is Phil. I used to date him but we broke up last spring. I’m happy we’re still best friends, but we can’t talk to each other about other boyfriends and girlfriends, that’s too painful for both of us. Besides Allison and Phil I have a group of friends I hang out with. My favorite music bands are One Direction and Maroon5. I don’t have a favorite color because I like all colors.

It is Monday morning 7 A.M and it’s raining. 4 September and I have to go to school again. Holidays are over. As I grab a T-shirt with grey skinny jeans and my converse I’m walking to the shower. After I’m done showering I walk downstairs. My mom is already having breakfast and she is reading the paper. ‘’Good morning mom.’’ ‘’Good morning dear. Did you sleep well?’’ ‘’Hmm not really. I couldn’t sleep because of the rain. And you?’’ ‘’Did it rain? I haven’t heard a thing last night. So yes I did sleep well.’’ ‘’Good. Where is dad? Is Jake already awake? I guess he’s going to be late. Did you make coffee? And where did you put the cereal?’’ ‘’Wow what a questions on the early morning. Are you looking forward to school? Dad is already off to his work. Jake is not going to be late honey, he went to school earlier this morning. And yes I made coffee and the cereal is in the drawer like usually.’’ ‘’Haha I’m sorry mom I’m wondering in what class I will be and if I’m in the same class as Alli.’’ ‘’Ah yes I see. I hope you’re in the same class but you’ll never know.’’ ‘’Yeah you’re right..’’ I took my cereal and sat down next to my mom. We were both very quiet while we were eating. After I was down I said goodbye and left the house. I walked to my car and drove to Alli. When I came to her house Alli was already standing outside waiting for me. ‘’Hey Alli!’’ ‘’Hey Tia.’’ We always greeted each other with our nicknames. ‘’How are you?’’ I asked when I gave her a hug. ‘’I’m fine and you?’’ She looked at me with concern I didn’t know why.. ‘’Yeah I’m fine, why do you look concerned?’’ ‘’Wait, you haven’t heard it yet? Gosh on what earth have you been the last few days?!’’ ‘’Alli what’s wrong?!’’ ‘’Phil is in the hospital.’’ BAM. It felt like somebody punched me in the face with all the strength it had. ‘’What happened?!’’ ‘’Oh it’s nothing worse. He fell off a rock in the Bahamas’.’’ ‘’And you cal that not worse?!’’ ‘’It’s not so bad, he only broke his leg and arm. But.. He lost his memory for a part..’’ ‘’Which part did he forget?’’ ‘’He forgot that you broke up with him last spring..’’ ‘’Oh god.. It was the worst thing in my life and now I have to do it again.’’ ‘’I know. But there’s nothing you can do about it. I’m sorry.’’ ‘’It’s not your fault. But if he still thinks I’m his girlfriend, then why didn’t he call me?’’ ‘’I would say check your phone. I’ve tried to call you a thousand times but you didn’t answer.’’ ‘’My phone isn’t on silent.’’ ‘’Still, just check.’’ ‘’Will you grab my phone and look? I can’t look while I’m driving.’’ She took my phone and looked and said: ‘’You have thirty missed calls. Thirteen of Phil and seventeen of Allison.’’ ‘’I don’t understand.. I looked last night on my phone to see if you called or texted me..’’ ‘’Hmm maybe your phone didn’t work?’’ ‘’I guess you’re right.’’ I drove in the parking lot by school and we walked inside. We walked to the cafeteria and we saw the rest of our friends. We greeted them and everyone was asking me how I was and if I wasn’t concerned about Phil. I told thim I was ok but deep inside I wasn’t. My best buddy was in the hospital and I didn’t know it. How bad can a friend be? Suddenly Alli grabbed my arm and yelled: ‘’Oh my gosh we’re in the same class! I knew it! I’m so happy!’’ The bell rung and Alli dragged me to Chemistry. ‘’Why are we going to Chemistry?’’ ‘’Our first class on Monday is Chemistry.. Have you even looked at your schedule?’’ ‘’There’s a chance I haven’t..’’ She laughed and we walked into our class. After we took our seats Mr. Jones came in and introduced a new student. I must admit, it’s a good looking student. He is muscled, dark blonde hair and brown eyes and when he smiles, he has dimples. His name is Randy and he is seventeen. He takes a seat just behind Alli and me. Mr. Jones starts the first lesson of the year with formulas and other things that had something to do with Chemistry. But I wasn’t paying attention. All I could think of was Randy and I knew he was looking at me. I was dreaming away when suddenly Mr. Jones said: Mrs. Andersen are we paying attention? Or are we still in Spain or where ever you were on vacation?’’ ‘’I’m sorry Mr. Jones.’’ ‘’That’s what I thought.’’ Yep holidays are official over.
