Chapter 6

TIARA’S POV

After I saw them kissing, I turned around, planning to walk away. To go the library or something. ‘’Tia! It’s not what it looks like! Come back!’’ Allison and Randy yelled this at me at exactly the same time. As soon as they realized they said the same thing at exactly the same time, they started giggling what only pissed me off even more. A hand grabbed my shoulder and turned me around so I was facing him. It was Randy. I looked at him and I could feel my eyes water. ‘’Why?’’ It was all I could manage to say. When he didn’t answer me, I walked away.

RANDY’S POV

 

As soon as I grabbed her shoulder and she turned around, I saw her eyes water. And all I could think of was NO DON’T CRY PLEASE DO ANYTHING BUT DON’T CRY. I didn’t mind it that she was sad, upset, disappointed or what so ever. It would make me look like a jerk. And I’m not a jerk oh no. Yes I am mean to every living female on this planet, but besides that I’m a nice guy. I looked back at Tiara and when she figured out I wasn’t going to say something, she turned around and started walking away. I let her go. When I turned to look at Alli, she looked at me with a big smile which I didn’t understand. I mean, she just made her best friend cry and she is smiling? That doesn’t make sense at all. She walked over to me and said: ‘’We need a little chit-chat.’’ Still with a big smile on her face.

TIARA’S POV

 

I was walking on the sidewalk. I was trying not to think, but no matter how hard I tried, I kept seeing the image ofAlli and Randy kissing. Do you know these moments when you’re planning on walking to some place but you’re ending up somewhere complete different? I had that today. I was planning on going to the library, but I ended up standing in front of Phil’s house. When I rung the doorbell, Paul opened the door himself. He frowned when he saw me. ‘’Hi Phil.’’ ‘’Hi Tia. How are you? You seem a little upset and you look like you’ve been crying.’’ He had no idea. ‘’Yeah I am a little upset. But it’s no big deal. How are you? I haven’t spoken to you in a long time. And may I come in? It’s freezing outside.’’ ‘’Yeah of course come in. I will make you something to drink and we can talk or something.’’ ‘’That sounds like a good idea.’’ When I walked into the house, Phil made hot chocolate for me. ‘’You do like hot chocolate, don’t you?’’ ‘’Are you kidding me? It’s my favorite!’’ I wasn’t surprised he still remembered that. When I sat down at the couch with my hands cupping the hot chocolate I told Phil why I have been crying. He looked at me like I was an idiot. ‘’So you are mad at Allison for kissing Randy? What’s wrong with girls? It’s just a guy. Jeez.’’ ‘’It’s not just that Phil. She was being rude and cruel to me. I can’t just forgive her like that.’’ ‘’No I understand.’’ I felt my eyes water again. Phil noticed it and hugged me. I hugged him back and we hugged for 10 minutes.

After I walked out the door and said goodbye to Phil, I was walking in the direction of the library. I’ve talked to Phil for 3 hours. We talked about everything. Gosh I really missed him as my best buddy. When I entered the library I saw Randy and Alli. I was planning on turning around and walk away like I did this morning, but I didn’t want them to feel satisfied for hurting me. So I continued walking, grabbed a book and took a seat to start reading. I’ve read about 20 pages when I heard someone cough. I looked up to see Allison in front of me. She said: ‘’Hi.’’ I responded ‘’Hi.’’ ‘’Why weren’t you at school?’’ ‘’Because I saw my best friend kissing the person I’m in love with. That’s why.’’ The hurted look on her face was priceless. ‘’Tia, I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to kiss him. We just talked and suddenly it happened. It’s no big deal, I swear!’’ ‘’Yeah whatever. I don’t really care Allison. We talk about this later.’’ After I said this to her, I turned around and walked away.

While I was walking home, I was thinking about what happened today, when I suddenly heard a scream. It was a high-pitched voice and it was coming from an alley. I didn’t pay attention to it, it would probably just a girl who was being chased by a guy, or a guy scared her. Happens all the time. When I unlocked the door and walked in, I saw Randy sitting at the couch. ‘’Randy, what the hell are you doing here?’’ Yes I was still mad at him. ‘’I’m here to apologize.’’ ‘’Yeah right. Tell me what you want to say and we’ll get this over with.’’ My voice was cold and emotionless. ‘’No. Not so fast. First, I want to show you something.’’

So short update. I’m not going to update, until I get more votes/comment on this book. So yeah..
