It's scary. It may not look like it. But it's incredibly terrifying. All you can see is her being a little slower today. A little more tired. A little more unfocused.
"She needs rest" or "she's not feeling well", "she's sick", "she'll get over it", "she's fine.", she this, she that. The truth is, she's not fine. She can't get over it. She's not sick, and no amount of rest will fix her right now,.
She's having an anxiety attack
And it's completely consuming her.
The scary part is, she's letting it. Don't get me wrong, she tried to stop it. She ignored it. She tried breathing techniques. She tried a grounding method. She's even talked herself out of an anxiety attack before. Nothing's helping.
So she stopped trying. And before you know it her entire world came crashing in on her head. Her thoughts raging like a wild fire. She's afraid of every little sound, of every little movement, of every. Little. Step. She takes. She is on the verge of passing out.
But all you can see is her being a little slower today. A little more tired. A little more unfocused.
"She needs rest" or "she's not feeling well", "she's sick", "she'll get over it", "she's fine.", she's this, she's that. So you ignore it. An she suffers. Silently.
