¡☆🎲☆¡I missed you." I say looking Daniel in the eye.
He nods his head at me showing that he agrees. I smile and lead him inside.
I see him flinch at the amount of people there are and I take his hand in mine.
"Daniel?" Corbyn asks, running towards us.
"DANNY?!" Zach and Jack question in unison.
Daniel turns around and sees the boys running towards him. I smile at the boys whilst they try and make up for lost time.
The girls also come running up to Daniel.
"Danny, Dios mío, te he echado mucho de menos. estoy tan contenta de que estés aquí (Danny, oh my god, I've missed you so much. I'm so happy you're here)." Chloe exclaims wrapping her arms around him.
Daniel gives me a quizzical look and I can't hold back my giggle. I mouth to him what she said and he nods his head in understanding.
The party finished soon, giving Daniel time to reunite with his sister. They sat in the living room, with Alice telling Daniel all the big things she had done and Blue just nodding and shaking his head.
It hurt my heart to know that they couldn't communicate in an actual conversation. That Daniel couldn't participate in all the things he's ever wanted to do just because of that one man who deprived him of his future.
Everyone decided to stay for yet another sleepover and I thought it would be a good idea to cook a meal since Daniel probably hasn't had a good home cooked meal.
I started walking towards the kitchen but stopped when I heard footsteps behind me. The body walked straight into me not noticing that I had stopped walking.
I turn around to see a pouting Daniel. His hair was wet and stuck to his forehead and he stood in a black hoodie and a pair of black joggers.
I put my hand through his hair making it return to its natural shaping. His blue eyes scan the room wondering if anything has changed.
It hasn't. I wouldn't let it.
I didn't want him to be uncomfortable in the house if he was ever to return.
"Do you wanna help? I'm cooking." I say smiling.
He raises his eyebrow at me, a smirk playing on his lip.
"I can cook, you know." I scoff.
He nods his head slowly at me and backs away from the kitchen. I roll my eyes and start my cooking.
After everyone was finished eating Daniel and I went to my room but not without a chorus of ' oooh's ' behind us.
We settle down in the bed and watch Netflix on my laptop. Half way into the movie I see Daniel twiddling with his hands.
"Daniel. Danny! Blue!" I shout trying to get his attention.
He looks up at me shocked at the power in my voice but soon relaxes.
"That's new." I say, gesturing towards his fingers.
He looks at his fingers then back at me before giving me a slight shrug and going back to the movie.
A few hours later, after we had fell asleep, something next to me starts panting heavily. I turn on my bedside lamp to see Daniel sitting up, his hair damp, very sweaty and crying.
"Daniel what wrong? What happened? Was it a bad dream?" I ask.
He nods his head and snuggles into my chest. After a few minutes the sobs had turned into quiet sniffling sounds.
He shook his head a few times before I knew what he wanted.
I brought my hand to his hair and wrapped my fingers around his brown locks.
