Hermione returns

Chapter 5

It was the first day of classes and tonight we were going to hear about the contest as a group

Hermione's group were sitting in the Slytherin common room waiting for Ms. loves to sleep in to get up, other wise known as Hermione Granger

"Come on Hermione Hurry up!" Nick Called up the stairs

"Yea I'm starving!" Nicki yelled

"your always hungry Nicki." Hermione deadpanned finally coming down the stairs, ending her sentence in a yawn.

"FINALLY!" Nick yelled before grabbing Hermione's hand and pulling her out of the common room

When everyone arrived at the great hall Hermione looked rather flustered.

"your so annoying Nick." she deadpanned

"oh i'm hurt Granger." he smirked before walking to the Slytherin table

"GO HOME MUDBLOOD!" Hermione heard as she walked to the table

"No thankyou Weasley. I quite like it here." she smirked at his shocked face

The Hermione Granger he knew never talked back to him and let him bully her.

Ron was about to retort when his head of house called out

"Sit down Weasley! I will not have you disrespecting Gryffindor and Hogwarts to our guests." McGonagall hissed

"Gryffindors." Hermione heard a familiar voice mutter next to her, She turned to see Draco Malfoy looking down at her with a small smile

"Come on Granger." he said grabbing her hand and pulling her over to the Slytherin table

She sat down and Draco was about to sit down next to her when they heard

"Oh Drakie!!!! Don't you wanna sit with me and not some Mudblood slut?" a high pitched sequel asked. Draco looked over to Pansy Parkinson who was looking at his expectedly

"No I don't want to sit next to a common slut. Which is why I am sitting next to Granger and not you Pansy." Draco said before sitting himself next to Hermione and looking down at her but she was already looking at him with her big brown eyes

"Malfoy explain." she muttered so only could hear her

"I'm sorry." He said "I was childish all those years ago. I guess you could say I was jealous that a muggleborn was beating me out for top spot every year." he finished

"I uh." Hermione started to say " forgiven. I mean you weren't as bad as potty or weaslebe."

Draco smirked at her nicknames for the idiotic duo.

"Start over?" he asked

"sure. Hello I'm Hermione Granger, who are you?" She asked sticking out her hand

" Draco Malfoy. Pleasure." he said grabbing her hand and bringing it to his lips. then started cracking up at her shocked face

the group they spent the entire breakfast getting to know Draco.
