Hermione returns

Chapter 9

It was two days before the first task and Hermione wasn't stressing at all. She had found a spell that temporary stunned manticores and practiced it until she had perfected the spell. Currently Hermione was sitting by the fire with Draco well more like on draco, talking.

"So if you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?" Draco asked hermione as he slightly poked her side 

" I would love to see the american wizarding world, I want to see if they are anything like the British one." Hermione said bating his hand away from her side.

"Interesting, just so you know they are worse then the British, witches and wizards aren't even aloud to talk to muggles much less date and marry them, and muggleborns don't exist." Draco said with a slight look of disgust.

"That's awful!" Hermione said sitting up

"It's a waste of fresh magic." Draco agreed "Anyway onto happier topics love, What's your favorite animal." Draco asked with a slight smirk

"Oh that's a hard one!" hermione said looking up at Draco, brown eyes meeting grey. "Magical or muggle?" 

"Both love, I want to know everything about you." Draco whispered in her ear, before kissing the top of her head.

"Stop!" Hermione said starting to blush 

"Never!" Draco chuckled "Now tell me!" 

"Fine, i like elephants and hippogriffs." Hermione said

Draco opened his mouth to ask another question but before he could the common room door swung open and entered Blaise and Shylah. They looked panicked and looked like they were searching for someone. 

"Hermione! We need to talk to you, Now! Oh and you too Draco." Shylah said almost out of breath.

"Are you guys OK?" Draco asked looking bewildered  

"We were walking back from the black lake when we heard Potter and Weasley talking." Blaise began

Draco opened his mouth to talk but Shylah cut in

 "Potter's planning g something at the first task." Shylah said " We heard him say that the mudblood is going to pay." 

"We don't know what he's planning but we knew we had to warn you." Blaise said 

"That wanker!" hermione gasped " And after i helped him!"

"i told you it wasn't worth it." Shylah said 

"Potter's always been an arse, he can't stand anyone having more spotlight then him." Draco said with a sneer.

"So the question is, What are we going to do?" Hermione asked

"Well, i think we should tell the rest of the group first." Blaise started " Then I don't think Hermione should go anywhere alone, most of Hogwarts hates you. Anyone could be helping Potter." 

"I can take care of myself." Hermione huffed, not liking blaise's idea 

"We know love, but we don't want anything to happen to you. For a gryffindork Potter is really sly." Draco said 

"Fine." Hermione pouted

"All we need to worry about is making sure Hermione makes it to the first task, We already know you'll pass with flying colors." Shylah smirked 

"thanks to that spell." Hermione laughed 

At that moment Blaise's stomach growled very loudly making both girls giggle 

"A little hungry Blaise?" Hermione asked with a smirk

"It is lunch time." Blaise said with a smile.

"Lets get lunch then." Draco commented.
