Hermione returns

Chapter 7

Hermione had already been back at Hogwarts for two months and all she'd been doing is studying charms, spells, hexes, and potions and she still had no idea what the first task was. On top of that the self proclaimed golden trio (Harry potter, Ron Weasley and Ginny Weasley)  hadn't given her a moment of peace since saint Potter's threat.

Currently Hermione was sat a table in the very back of the library, piles and piles of books surrounding her, and that's where Draco Malfoy found her on a beautiful Saturday afternoon

"Hermione come have a bit of fun!" Draco Malfoy whined walking over to her. Over the past two months Hermione and Draco had very, very close. To be honest they both had a bit of a crush on each other, not that the other knew that.

"Draco I can't. The first task is only a month away and I still have absolutely no idea what it is." Hermione snapped not bothering to look up  

"Have you tried researching the contest?" Draco asked sitting down next to Hermione. Hermione looked up at him in shock

"Oh Draco I could kiss you!" Hermione said jumping up "I can't believe I forgot." Hermione said walking away leaving Draco blushing madly, coming back 5 minutes later with a thick text called 'Magical Contests Through the Ages' 

"You didn't research the contest at all?" Draco asked amused

"Guess I'm not such a bookworm Know-it-all after all after all." Hermione smirked " Aha! Found it!" Hermione pushed the book so they both could read it.

'The Champion of the Sisters goes back to the very beginning of both Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardly, And Oxford School of Magic. Both well known sister schools. This contest consists of two champions, one from Oxford and one from Hogwarts. There are always only three tasks. 

The first task is normally something to do with animals. In past contests animals that have been used have been Trolls, Basilisks, Cerberus, Chimera. Normally the objective of the first task is to find a clue leading into the second task

The second task normally varies from different things. Past tasks always have to do with the clue collected during the first task . 

The third and final task is always a race of some kind to get to the trophy first.' 

" Well there you have it Granger. The first task will have something to do with animals." Draco teased 

"I know, I should have actually bothered to read about the contest." Hermione grinned at the blonde boy.

"Now will you come have a bit of fun with me?" Draco asked, his lip turning into a bit of a pout.

"Ok fine!" Hermione sighed after a minute "Just please stop with the face!" 

Draco grinned before pulling her to her feet and pulling her out of the library, Her bag resting on his shoulder

"Now Malfoy planning on telling me what exactly it is we are doing?" Hermione questioned as she was dragged out of her safe heaven.

"now where would the fun it that be?" Draco said grinning back at the brunette

"Your insufferable." Hermione teased lightly shaking her head and he pulled her out of the doors of Hogwarts.

"You act like I don't already know that." Draco said coming to a halt outside " And if you must know. I'm taking you to Hogsmeade. It's the first weekend and I know for a fact that you've never been." Draco said grinning at her 

"What?" Hermione asked 

"ok if you want to be slow," Draco started smirking as Hermione glared at him  "You and I are going to Hogsmeade. Together." Draco now looked nervous
