Two weeks after Hermione's date with Draco, Hermione was walking back to the common room, it was slightly after curfew, She stopped when she heard whispering
"Albus is it wise to have the children fight Manticores?" Hermione heard her own headmaster say, she stifled a gasp
'Manticores? But they love the taste of human flesh!' Hermione thought
"Wise? Of course, I would never let Harry get hurt!" Dumbledore said
"It isn't Potter I'm worried about." said the headmaster of Oxford school of magic
"Don't tell me you're worried about a mere muggleborn girl" Hermione heard Dumbledore sneer
Hermione quickly left before she heard anymore, she had studying to do. Hermione already decided to tell Potter, fair is fair.

The next morning Hermione was dressed and ready to go bright and early.
At a quarter to 7 Hermione left the Slytherin common room and headed towards her safe heaven, the library. She was halfway there when she saw the Hogwarts champion Harry Freakin Potter.
"I can not believe I'm doing this." Hermione muttered before calling out "Potter!"
Harry whipped his head around at the sound of his name and saw Hermione walking towards him
"What do you want Granger?" Harry sneered
"I know what the first task is." Hermione said no emotion on her face
"Oh. come to gloat then?" Harry asked turning up his nose as if he smelled something really bad
"No, I came to tell you Potter." Hermione said glaring at him, her words shocking him
"Why?" Harry sputtered
"Because, You may be a complete arsehole who may wish me dead, and I may hate you with every fiber of my being, but for some unknown reason I don't wish you dead, Potter. It's Manticores." Hermione said to a completely confused Harry Potter, she turned away and quickly walked down the hall "Oh, by the way, Potter, They like human flesh." Hermione called smirking before turning the corner
After Hermione Harry looked at where she stood and muttered " I don't wish you dead."Before shaking his head and walking to the great hall for a bit of food before classes.

Hermione arrived at the school library just five minutes after her talk with Potter, she had a book to check out.
"Good morning Madame Pince." Hermione smiled at the stern librarian.
"Good morning Hermione dear." She said back, unlike the entire Hogwarts student body, Madame Pince liked Hermione, she knew how to treat books.
"I need a book on Manicores if that's possible." Hermione asked
"Manticores? Now, why would you want a book on those foul creatures?" Madame Pince asked looking skeptical
"I need it for the task." Hermione whispered while Madame Pince looked unconvinced but found a book for her anyway. "Thankyou this is perfect!" Hermione smiled after looking at the contents
"Your welcome dear now get to breakfast." Madame Pince said shooing the girl away

"Where did you disappear off to this morning Love?" Draco asked his girlfriend as she slipped into the seat next to him
"Early morning library run." Hermione explained before giving him a goodmorning kiss
"some people are trying to eat here!" Shylah smirked while Hermione flipped her the finger
"I agree with Malfoy, Mudblood stop being a slut." the three heard a annoyingly high pitched voice said, as Hermione looked she saw Pansy Parkinson smirking at her
"Fuck off Pansy." Draco hissed while Hermione along with all of her friends glared at the pug faced girl until she turned red and quickly moved to go sit with another slytherin girl
"Merlin she's annoying." Hermione sighed
"She has this fixation that I'm going to fall madly inlove with her and make her the next Lady Malfoy." Draco said looking past annoyed
"Anyway moving on from pug faced girls, You were at the library?" Levi asked
"Yea I was headed back to the common room late last night and i over heard Doe and Dumbledore talking about the first task, I went and got a book on the animal I'll be fighting, and i uh told Potter what it is." muttered the end
"You did what?" Shylah screamed getting looks from everyone
"Oh piss off!" She shouted watching as they all went back to their breakfast
"I told Potter, It's only fair!" Hermione crossing her arms
"why, he's a arsehole and he hasn't left you alone since you got here." Draco questioned
"I don't know, the animal is a Manticore." Hermione whispered
"What? But they eat people!" Draco hissed
"exactly which is why i had to tell Potter, as much as i hate the git, I can't let him die because he didn't know." Hermione sighed
"I understand, just don't expect Potter to return the favor, Potter only helps himself." draco said as another Slytherin joined them
"Mind if i join you guys, Parkinson is getting unbearable." he asked
"Hey Blaise, sure." Draco said
"Blaise? where have i heard that name before?" Hermione asked
"Zabini, I was like the only person who didn't bully you." Blaise said with a small smile
"Ah, well hello Mr. Zabini, I'm Hermione." she grinned in a posh voice
"Blaise is fine." he chuckled bringing hermione's hand to his lips and kissing it "but it is a pleasure to meet you Hermione." Blaise purred while hermione went bright red
"Zabini." Draco warned
"Che cosa? Sto solo scherzando con la signora." Blaise said in perfect Italian
(What? I'm just joking with the lady.)
"Lei e la mia ragazza!" Draco replyed also in perfect Italian
(She is my girl!)
" Sai che Hermione non e il mio tipo." Blaise deadpanned
(You know Hermione is not my type.)
"Il tuo tipo è qualsiasi cosa con le gambe." Draco pointed out

"Punto valido." Blaise admitted before grinning "Ma in realtà sto perseguendo Lovegood al momento ."
(Fair point) (But i'm actually pursuing Lovegood at the moment.)
"Ti rendi conto che anche noi possiamo parlare italiano" Hermione smirked in Italian much to the shock of Draco and Blaise
(You do realize that we can also speak Italian)
"Puoi?" Blaise qustioned in Shock
(You can?)
"Si." Shylah said laughing at her brothers shocked face
(yeah)
"so Lovegood eh?" Hermione smirked switching back to English
Blaise blushed
